@@waysoutback Back in the good old days, I’m old enough to have lived in the good old days, before light pollution became what it is today one could step outside their door in the city and see the stars easily, now…..one has to get outside the city to even see some of the stars that one used to see in the past.
Excellent ! Editing is getting very professional. Great job on the music. Usually I don’t care for the music in UA-cam vids, except for yours. They work with the visuals, not too loud, not too long. Maggie’s is really the star. Love the combination of drone shots. The recipes look great will steal them. Your night shots are great. I guess you don’t camp in the summer ? Thanks for taking us on your adventures.
Thank you so much! It’s hard to find the balance with music, and just learning how to use different audio features. Maggie is such a character it’s hard not to include her. It’s amazing what technology allows us to do now. Captures so many more shots easily. We don’t do as much camping in the summer June-august….we love being home in summer, but I’m sure we will get away for a couple little trips.
Zac, I had a question about disconnecting your charge controller. I’ve never done that on any of my solar controllers. None seemed to have a parasitic draw. I try to harvest as much as possible. Generally our 200 W panel supplies all our needs.
For us it’s probably a bit different for most. We do a lot of camping in winter when solar produces little output. So we normally shut it off during winter months. With the shunt I can see how much draw my solar controller has and it’s just not worth it.
That pork roll looked delicious. Maggie is one spoiled little fur daughter. Excellent video! And to think your wife was camera shy. She adds a lot to your videos! And I had to laugh, at 25:09 you can hear the diesel heater pump clicking away. Thanks!!
It was sooooo good. Ya it’s hard not to spoil Maggie. Suz will be glad to hear you enjoy having her in the videos. It took many many many months coaxing her to do it. Thanks so much for your encouragement.
We share the same love of seeing signs of springs while the lakes are still iced over. Something special about those views. I hope Maggie appreciates the discipline she received about being too close to the ice! She obviously was forgiven, since she got to cozy up inside mamma’s jacket 😂
It’s amazing how each change during the season makes a place look and feel different. Maggie, can never figure out why we are telling her what to do since she is the boss.🤣
Good video, and your dinner recipe looked delicious. Nice camping spot but with a little boat launch, your timing was perfect for seclusion. Was the truck stolen, and did you call the coppers?
Great video! The food looked absolutely delicious!! The location looked very peaceful and relaxing despite the abandoned car! 😂 Did you find out anything about it?
I hope you weren't cooking over treated lumber! It's not safe to cook over chemically treated wood because the smoke and ash contain arsenic, which can cause poisoning.
You, and your wife Sue, are a beautiful couple. She makes some nice food too!
Thanks, I definitely got the better part of the deal. 🙂
Loved the night time sky shots, Orion was looking awesome.
I only wish I could capture it as well as our eye does. The stars were spectacular

We often talk about that. Even how the sky has been changed with all, the satellites …..

I agree, love seeing Suzette in the newer videos!
It was sooooo good. Ya it’s hard not to spoil Maggie. Suz will be glad to hear you enjoy having her in the videos. It took many many many months coaxing her to do it. Thanks so much for your encouragement.
She will be glad to know you feel that way.
Hi Zac. We love Maggie. Susie really adds so much to your videos. What a beautiful spot to camp. Suzette needs a camping cooking show.
Haha. I’ll let her know.

Great vid!!! 👍🏻👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it
get outdoors...thanks for sharing - who knew
You got that right!
Always a great vid 🤙
Glad you think so! Thank you

Thanks it was really good. Love finding spots on lakes. Yes the truck was stolen. Too bad.
Great video! The food looked absolutely delicious!! The location looked very peaceful and relaxing despite the abandoned car! 😂
Did you find out anything about it?
Thank you. Ya, it was u fortunate to see that vehicle, we didn’t learn anything more about it. Hopefully it will be gone the next time we head out.
I hope you weren't cooking over treated lumber!
It's not safe to cook over chemically treated wood because the smoke and ash contain arsenic, which can cause poisoning.
Definitely not. I wouldn’t burn treated lumber, even if I wasn’t cooking over it. I wouldn’t want to breath in the fumes ….
