Checking in from the gamer™ community. When I first got into cod it was the peak that was MW2 and I thought it was the greatest thing ever. Fast forward to MW3 and at the time I felt like it fell off and wasn’t that great because that’s kind of what the boys were saying and moving forward in my head every time another cod would come out I’d be like “great another copy paste game everyone’s gonna hop to” and left it at that. A few years ago I got into BO3 zombies because the homies were into it and I had this moment of realization doing an Easter egg that there’s actually a lot of love and care put into them and it kind of felt like the future of arcade games, scored based, a little random, repetitive and made to be addictive. It’s the epitome of “ooone more game”. All this to say that I get the cod copy paste allegations but once you’re in it and actually playing them, when you get past the very similar coat of paint, the games are ridiculously fun and varied once you crack through the surface. Anyways that’s my long winded take. Happy 115 day.
I love these “Tony gushing about current games impact on him” videos so much
