Same here. The name she gives is Twi (Ghana) but her pronunciation of "instructor" is very Nigerian. As for mannerisms, could be either - Ghanaians and Nigerians have more in common than they realise.

I worked with some Jamacains for almost 20 years. We got to be good friends and got to know each other's families and friends. They were great, but when they first came to the US they were like fish out of water. Sometimes they said shit that had me in tears laughing.
