It’s a device camera problem. I use an IPad to record and it doesn’t have very good video in dark spots. I can’t use my phone as it has poor battery, which is why i only used the phone from D.C to Chicago.
Well, the background voices are what you would experience as a passenger. I only mind it if there are screaming children. My suggestion to better the video would be to include subtitles showing the name of each station stopped at. And yes, that bell drives me crazy. I hope it can only be heard in the first car.
@@MSRP186 Thanks. I just didn't hear the whistle, just the bell in the whole video, so I was kind of wondering about that. I still think it is an unsafe idea to not allow trains to sound the whistles at crossings. But that's just me.
😊wooow this is a nice cabride.wat a diferend way to drive this, bels horns,mm strange, whe are riding with 140 KMPH to the stations,no horns,no where.the trees are down red licht are on.thats the way how whe do this in the E.U.and its 100% save. passing red,you are daed.😊
That phony bell has to be a poster child for useless equipment. And it is annoying as heck.
I’m surprised they had you board to the center track. I thought they only used the center for express.
I work downtown for 6 years taking the train and have never seen that…
Nice vid...Was wishing I could kill annoying bug on window.
The picture quality from this end is very poor I wonder why ?

Appreciate the effort, great perspective and solid camera work. That said, the background voices made it unwatchable for me.

The freight train passing at 18:30 was cool,
Forgive me for being a newbie, but why don't the metras have to sound the whistle at grade crossings like other trains do?
Some areas are quiet zones, so trains only sound horns if necessary. Such as a car or human illegally crossing the tracks.

😊see the Dutch/German/Austrian railroads,its cool with the mountain trains.enjoy it.😊
That's what they use the old station for!
I never knew this! That explains everything now. Thank You! 🙌🙌🙌💙💙💙💜💜💜
little narration would help. We all don't live around Chicago.
I don’t like to narrate but I can always point out notable locations using when it appears and info about this location
To be fair, it’s better without narration if you ask me
I'm actually sort of surprised at the track speed. I would figure they could push it faster.
Keren keren👍
Nice video. A perspective many of us can't see.
To Chicago, from where?
Clarendon Hills, I fixed the title to include the station name.
I can see my condo at the brookfield stop!
