Ken Follet was a treasure I found in a box of garage sell books. Since then I have read and enjoyed many of his books. Thanks for posting a new one I haven't read.
It is true that the author uses many characters with first name last name which on the surface is very confusing, but brilliantly he associate something with the name previously used that make you remember the characters. Great story. Excellent narration.
Unbelievably great narration! I love it! Wasn't sure about the narrator in the beginning but after 20 minutes or so he picked up speed. Very well done! Unfortunately the sound quality is not as good. But acceptable enough.

.....I gotta say The Way Station by Clifford Simak is good listening . SciFi story and very intriguing . Not sure if Desmond Bagley novels is in audio book .There's a movie or two that get pulled then put up again .
Not that I don't apricate these audiobooks being shared but: They are supposed to be historical fiction , The authors always seem to write their female characters with 21st century ideas. LOL
@@cacambo589 I was born in the 1950's . And while I would agree that there are certainly far greater career opportunities for women today than just being mothers and home makers like when I was a kid. , going back as far as WW2 would not be too far beyond first hand.

Anything written by Ken Follett is a treasure to read and these audiobooks are wonderful.
