Your reputation from 'Eye of the Needle' precedes you and as a result I do not trust you will supply a full story. Omitting the last 10 minutes of Higgins's dramatic tale is not good story-telling.

When the Danes are speaking. They sound like a mix of norwegian, russian, little bit indian and a huge amount of germen. There are hardly any danish sounds. And at a point Vlad the impaler is pronounced Flad the impaler. 100% german 0% danish. Sadly I could not go on. And had to stop at that point.

Icannot agree. There are times when the narrator , by bizarre stresses on words or phrases, distracts attention from the story. I gave up at 29.07

Agreed. I thought it was poor stick to get the reader to buy the book...but I enjoyed imaging the different ways it could have ended.
