Exactly the lanyard I was looking for: sturdy, well made, and with a clip. Just perfect :-) For the record, I use 2 meters of paracord for a small version and 3 meters for a bigger one. Thanks for the tutorial!

You said that you had shoulder surgery. Was it a rotator cuff? I had my right rotator cuff repaired 9 weeks ago. Still doing pt. It is getting better.
Um if im gonna make a king cobra how much footage do i need for the second pass ?
I use a modified mini screwdriver with interchangeable bits (flat blade filed to a point for a knotters tool) and it has knurled ends which makes the end of the paracord blend in when heated with a flame. Works for me... Don't overwork the shoulder.

Amazon has them. For the clip look up "HK clip". XTACER is the brand I found for cheapest one. For the D ring look up "flat D ring", Craftmemore has those the cheapest. No Prime though
You should have added that you can use a regular key ring and it doesn’t need to be a d style. I did it with a circular one and it came out pretty good too
