I have to disagree because i haven't seen them live yet and had seen only one or two of their videos when i fell in love with their music in '97. For me the live performance, the pyro, the lighting and the gigantic stage is just a nice upgrade but the main reason I'm going go to one of their concerts this year is the music.

I think it's kinda funny that many people think Till was such an expert on pyrotechnique ... the truth is he was obligated to make that licence due to an accident on stage ^-^ Another fun fact is that he has very strong stage fright wich is also a reason why they started with big shows on stage in the first place so he can concentrate on his role instead of the masses

I love Mia's pronounciation at the beginning. I don't speak German either, but that pronunciation was cute lol. That build up was one of the best parts of the song in my honest opinion. Another great song inspired by a real case is Mein Teil (My Part)
Background and composition:
The song is inspired by the case of Armin Meiwes and Bernd Jürgen Armando Brandes. In March 2001, in Rotenburg an der Fulda, the two men aged in their 40s met each other, cut off and cooked Brandes' penis and consumed it together. Afterwards, Meiwes killed Brandes - with Brandes' permission - and ate his remains. As a result, Meiwes was sentenced to eight-and-a-half years in jail for manslaughter, but was later charged with murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. According to bassist Oliver "Ollie" Riedel, the song came about after "one of our members brought a newspaper to rehearsal and it had a story about the cannibal guy in it. We were fascinated, shocked and amused at the same time". Vocalist Till Lindemann stated, "It is so sick that it becomes fascinating and there just has to be a song about it".[2] A prominent phrase in the song is "... denn du bist, was du isst, und ihr wisst, was es ist" ("Because you are what you eat, and you (pl.) know what it is").

I have to disagree because i haven't seen them live yet and had seen only one or two of their videos when i fell in love with their music in '97.
For me the live performance, the pyro, the lighting and the gigantic stage is just a nice upgrade but the main reason I'm going go to one of their concerts this year is the music.
@@CavHDeu I can only say, that you are so right and funny enough, it happens to me exactly in the same way. Love them since 1997 and will be at the concert first time this year. Or whenever it is. I hold on to my "fire-zone-ticket." and if it is the last thing which I might own.

FYI vocalist Till Lindemann is an apprenticed pyrotechnician.
I think it's kinda funny that many people think Till was such an expert on pyrotechnique ... the truth is he was obligated to make that licence due to an accident on stage ^-^ Another fun fact is that he has very strong stage fright wich is also a reason why they started with big shows on stage in the first place so he can concentrate on his role instead of the masses

I don't like heavy metal or punk or whatever name hard noisy rock music is called, but I love rammstein because they never lost the musicality in their art. It might be loud and brutal but there is always some elegance and melody inside.

It's sad that the older German songs don't show up: "Blueprint" by the Rainbirds or "Pushed again" by die toten Hosen. But you do it well.
I love Mia's pronounciation at the beginning. I don't speak German either, but that pronunciation was cute lol. That build up was one of the best parts of the song in my honest opinion. A cool and really interesting song that you guys SHOULD, but probably won't (due to it's graphic nature) is Mein Teil. The song is about 2 men who come together to do stuff.... Oh well, you guys get a lot of requests like this anyways lol. A super head banging song, but I wouldn't recommend listening to it, or your dad won't let you lol. RAMMSTEIN!
