This was interesting. I’m an American who moved to South Africa and I find that there’s a major drinking culture here. I also don’t drink so I feel your pain.
Thank you for the great insights Nobue these are some of the things little do people get to know if they don't research and it's good that u come up and help those fellow pips as well. Migration is so much these days and it seems far better for someone coming over who already has employment than going to look for it coz I can imagine the expenses u talk about can be a challenge without that support right?
Great video 😊😊 Could you please please do a video on highly beneficial short courses an aupair/nanny/babysitter could do in pursuit of a career path for after the whole childcare thing
A course in early childhood education (ECD). From there you can open your own creche /work as a grade R teacher and general care taker for children & tolders. Hope this helps
Great video as always...Nobue you once promised to do a video on different jobs/carreers. Is it still on the list? Im particularly interested in the accounting field
@@NobueKhumalo lol..okay say maybe for someone who has an ACCA qualification and wishes to work in UK/London, would you know how they can go about it.what are the salary ranges etc

Hi Nobue, I am planning to move to London next year around April. I have an LLB Degree from Wits. Please advise how I could go about getting a training contract and if I need to secure it before I immigrate
Hi Neo. You do need a training contract before you move. Unfortunately it’s really difficult to get one. I only know Linklaters which offers training contracts to students out of the UK. Other than that it’s nearly impossible I’m afraid
@@NobueKhumalo thank you so much for your input and great insight. I guess I am going to have to defer my immigration plans until I am admitted as an Attorney. I do not want to disadvantage myself and struggle to secure employment once I have moved to the UK.
@neosechoaro9614 as a fellow wits LLB graduate...rather get admitted and apply at an international firm like Nortonrose to make your overseas journey easier.
Hy Nobue ,I wanted to ask if is it a wise idea to study law at UNISA and I want know if will I be able to practice in other countries. If so may you please explain the process for me ,I am also Zimbabwean and have been accepted to study LLB at UNISA
Can you still save enough while living in london? Is it still worth it to live there while having to work this much? Im looking to move to another country in 2026.
Hey Nobue, thank you for the video, you spoke about great career opportunities What are the odds of a Unisa Bcom Law graduate finding a good job there?
I studied law in South Africa. That is the context of that video. If you’ve watched my other videos you would know I always clarify that I’m Zimbabwean and studied Uni in South Africa. Love and light to you!🌻

Yes South Africa has a pretty serious drinking culture too!

Yes. You will generally not be able to get a work visa and move to the UK without a job offer already.
I loved hearing your experience. I’m planning on moving over in May and this was so insightful 🤍
Glad it was helpful!

Hi there. Quite low to be honest. Get an LLB , articles and a few years of experience then it’ll get better. All the best!

did you study at a university in south africa or uk ?
Both! Did my LLB in South Africa then further studies in UK
