A little correction, a lot of West Indians, lived in Peckham in the 50s and 60s before a lot of Nigerians started to settle there!......and I am a Nigerian!
Point of correction, 85% of West Indies have all moved out to outside of London predominantly Milton Keynes, Northampton. Sheffield and environs because they didn’t buy the properties they lived in when the opportunity was there for them to do so.

There is a liitle part of Nigeria in London and New York as well. In London there are zones for Nigerians (Peckham), Jamaicans (Brixton), Caribbeans, China Town, Indians, Bangladeshi, West Indies. The Japanese are focused on Finchley. There are zones for everybody. London is pretty much a city of countries. As a Nigerian, when I visited Peckham about 10 years ago, I saw a lot of Nigerian businesses and restaurants. All the food you couldn't find in Nigeria were there in Peckham and London in general. From snails, to bushmeat, cow leg, suya and catfish. Everything was fresh and most were alive. Even Nigerian fruits and vegetables of the freshest quality. So I was like, how the blazes do our Nigerian folks get the freshest Nigerian ingredients to London. I also visited Mama Cass. Although Mama Cass was not in Peckham but the food was sophisticated. I couldn't even finish the plate of Jollof rice I was given because there was too much food. Even in Europe where I live, you can't find anything fresh from Nigeria, let alone, find that specific thing you need, but in London you have like EVERYTHING you need. Same with the United States. Houston las the largest concentration of Nigerians. I was able to find a lot of Nigerian businesses and dishes over there.
Peckham used to be a lovely place there was a department store, lots of retail shops market stalls now its really horrible glad I moved away many years ago.
