What I like about your videos is you don’t say a knife is bad because of something a beginner person would not understand but you just say if it’s good or bad and I appreciate that
Tbh I’d say it’s not good because to get better swing (how fast and smooth the handles can rotate), you need to sacrifice play with this one (movement of the handles in the horizontal direction to the standard rotation). And it’s a clone, so that’s also a thing to consider.
Of course this is someone who has a butterfly knife, tattoos and a Mohawk, what did I expect lol

the most important thing for me would be how long it lasts. i had a couple butterfly trainers before but after fiddling around with them a couple weeks they just loosen or break in a strange way.
You need to locktite any balisong or it will fall apart

I’m getting into balisongs too and my first knife will be a marcolo trainer for 2 reasons: 1 I want to learn tricks with a dull knife rather a sharp knife and 2 because I don’t wanna cut myself. My next knife will be a csgo

@@oogabooga910 I don't recommend a cs go one for more advanced or intermediate flipping. If you like the way it looks go for just have the traditional ones also to train better. You should try getting live blade after you feel confident enough. Have fun!

I honestly really want this knife (even though it is currently 16$ on amazon rn) because I think it looks cool but they pay 10$ to get people to give good reviews which I was skeptical about but there are photos from people in the reviews showing a paper that says it. Anyway if somebody else can give a real honest review I'd prob buy it
just got it and I cant say it was worth the money, handles are tight and impossible to loosen. the screws got stripped when I tried to loosen it so now im stuck with a very stiff balisong :/

A bit late but i got mine 3 days ago, it's decent for its price however it took a bit of using for it to loosen up. so far nothing has broke and hopefully it stays that way

I’d recommend getting a Nabalis, TheOne Falcon / Alien, BB Barfly product, or a Squiddy B / U. All good sub-100 dollar options that aren’t clones.
There's a much cheaper one in the Philippines, and I bought it for only 3+ dollars or 150 pesos in our currency and the design is good and it's light unlike my first butterfly knife

Ive had it for over a month and it broke , i tried fixing it and lubing it but the screws fall out and the blade comes loose and the play and tap is insanely horrible when u use it a little bit
You need to locktite the screws so they never come loose on any balisong

It can have a minimal amount of play, but then your swing gets fucked over. You need to sacrifice play to get good swing. Not great tbh.
i have a marcolo trainer, i lost a washer trying to clean it and i had to buy and then modify brand new washers. its good quality tho

Yeah it’s what you usually want to use. You can use red loctite but that’s only if you’re confident it’s tuned and you know what you’re doing.
