UNDECEMBER - Fireball & Frost Shock Build (Act 5 Boss) | Early Barrier Build + Zodiac

- Here I showcase Fireball + Frost Shock skills in Undecember against the ever so annoying Christen (Act 5 Boss).
As you can see, hitting him with both Fire and Ice at the same time, messes him up quite a bit. Both skills can be obtained since Act 1 (beginning of the game) so this build can carry you on till Endgame.
I forgot to showcase how the build is against mobs but you can imagine if is this good against a boss, mobs are nothing to it (not to mention you can freeze mobs with Frost Shock too).
The most important as always, MOVEMENT SPEED! so do get acceleration for yourself, so that you can evade enemies while you shoot fireballs around. Even if you don't have these unique armor pieces (which are very cheap in the Auction House if you find them, less than 50 rubies each), you can still manage to defeat him, and use dodge roll instead of teleport, rolling right towards him rather than away from him. If you get around him, you can evade most of his skills.
I'm using a Barrier build as you can see, because I have that chestpiece that reduces physical dmg by 20% while barrier is active, which is amazing. My barrier regen is quick, you can see I recover from all the hits very easily with this. Always remember to have your element resistances to max (75%) as it helps INMENSELY!

Better remove the multishot and change it with Elite slayer for more DPS if you go 1v1 against boss.
I tried to combine the exact skills and it’s not working for me
You need to have blue color link rune on top right for frost shock and bottom left for fireball, then put the spell activation on spell hit link rune in between them.
Verify that the link rune is the correct one!

@@Me3iiko Fire on top right, Ice on bottom left. You need to have the skill rune with blue color link slot on the required slot.

Follow the stats based on your needs.
If you have a crit build or non-crit build, if you're more tank or just pure DPS.
Look at what the stats say and choose wisely~
If you want to go easy mode on this game, go play with either toxic flame or throwing dagger builds.
- Toxic flame : 3 int, 2 str (use armor sets so the boss won't one-shot you, for the zodiacs go with poison damage speciality)
- throwing dagger : 3 dex, 1 int, 1 str (go full dodge on this one, for zodiac just focus to get the critical disabled zodiac, it's pointless to play critical on early game and with persistence link rune you'll get more DPS)
Combined skills are only useful endgame it's better act 1 - 10 you'll lose dps combining skills without the right stuff fire ball by itself would have killed him in seconds
Hmmm not really. Specially if you use convert mana or anything that gives you high mana regen.
The DPS of the frost shock after being linked onto fireball, is higher than what 1 rune would add to fireball. On the contrary, in the end game, that 1 rune could be better than adding frost shock, since zodiacs and other stats start to add up incredibly.
How did you link frost and fire ball together?
@@Me3iiko Using "Spell activation upon Spell hit" link rune, you can get it from a box after you clear Act 1 side quest or buy it at Rune Merchant in Act 2 or any Rune Merchant in Act 6 and above.
