Ah, yes The climactic moment at the end of the mystery novel where everyone just agrees to collectively ignore whatever the detective just said and leave lol
Tbf this game illustrates the problems with modern AI perfectly. LLMs tend to be ridiculously verbose for no reason at all, and they hallucinate all the time.
Game could have been a lot better (granted the issue would still somewhat remained) if the devs actually put in the effort to purpose train the model more. Its a early rushed product trying to jump on the hype train without much actual effort put in. Also limitations in compute ...
Except my man Monsieur Saxomar. He's just the gigachad who'll always answer you in a few words max and will not be deluded on reality even if you try to make him. I laughed so much in Charlies playthrough when he was interacting with this man lol
That game is called Suck Up. I feel like that's a game that does AI right. Each character you interact with has a clear and distinct personality that you have to take advantage of in order to convince them you're friendly and not a vampire. Not to mention everything else in the game other than the behavior of the characters aren't done with AI, like the artstyle.
AI are great for roleplaying streams. As of now AI conversations always derail out of context. Making a detective game from AI is like the last game genre they should be in as they require precise clues to be solved. She would have had fun, if she knew it AI will always get under your skin with gaslighting lol.
There you have it Superman wins lol. This was literally the Watson experience all over again as the line of reasoning brought them both to the same spot where they ended up being talked in circles with no clear resolve, Cecilia just rage quit in less time from what I remember.
Cici is really testing the AI's limits. The lion tamer is an example of how far the AI can entertain random questions. That deduction turning into fan fiction bit was hilarious.
I almost died laughing at that stream, and now I'm doing it again. Such a weird but funny game. And Cecilia's reactions, frustration and accent made it even better.I wish she would try playing it again - the jank was pure comedy gold.
While these games are really innovative to try using AI characters, there's always going to be a fundamental problem. Because an AI language model effectively opens up the player to say literally anything and try literally anything. This isn't unreasonable for a game, because DND works the same way. But in DND you have a human dungeon master who has an intelligent understanding of what is relevant to the story and what isn't, and figures out on the fly how to rewrite the story to get things back on track. The AI doesn't have that level of cognition, so it will steer the player in completely irrelevant directions and forget the story at the drop of a hat.
frankly it aint her fault, every time ive seen anyone play this the AI just talks in circles never admits anything and makes the whole thing be reliant on luck
I think Ina would be a better fit for this game. She's the most serious holoEN member, therefore, her audience is used to more paused experiences just to chill. CC is too "loud" and hyperactive 😂 So much energy, and detective games require the players to think a lot about lots of things, not to be cracking jokes constantly
Because playing this game seriously would be really boring, and you might as well just play any other detective game instead with actual effort behind it. Besides, the point of the game's AI taking any prompt is to let people mess around a fair bit.
Nah the game is a bunch of nonsense AI narrative plot. If you play it right you wouldn't get much experience out of it. It's like watching the anime Ghost stories, lol. You can do it right by watch the Japanese sub, but then it just a bottom of the barrel ghost anime, meanwhile the deranged English dub is more funny
"Detective Martini, this is complete nonsense" killed me 🤣
Ah, yes
The climactic moment at the end of the mystery novel where everyone just agrees to collectively ignore whatever the detective just said and leave lol
Lmao

I sometimes use GPT for story ideas and yeah, I hate how verbose they write stuffs
An automaton is having troubles to communicate with a low budget AI... This is Robot Wars😅
"I am not quite convinced of your theories, Detective Martini."
:(
☹️
I'm still impressed she actually wore the AI down to call her Chief.
The most important question of any investigation will always be "Do you like tea or coffee more?".
this stream destroyed my remaining braincells too tbf
I love her German anger lol
She NEEDS to play that game about a vampire trying to get invited into people's houses to feed from them. It's hilarious 😂

*"Who would win, the automaton or AI?"*
*"Always bet on the lion"*
SSRB spotted! xD
Poor Chief Cecilia Martini, she's out of line but she's right! 🤣
The green energy is strong here.
Reminds me of Fauna's no boulder speedrun.

Perfect name right there for the genre of AI games: Gaslighting Simulators 🤣
10:13 :D to :(

05:22 LION ALWAYS WINS
Ce got the answer to the only question that really matters, tea or coffee. Everything else is trivia
Love CC. Thanks for the highlights❤
Sasuga Gaslight Queen
green furina

Cecilia immediately goes into bossing the AI around, aha, here comes that terminator uprising
i love every time she gasps at their answers lmao
Tbf, they don't really share their findings. So imagine a detective suddenly accusing people.
Man i love Cc
MILC
To be fair, I think the AI is 100% correct.
There is no way to beat Botan, unless you bring something the level of Superman!
Cecilia "alright, let's get to the bottom of this.. first question, ARE YOU A COFFEE LOVER!?" 🤨
Still kind of crazy that LLMs are even included in detective games in the first place
"The AI game that broke Cecilia"
I think she was broken already all along
If it's 1v1 always bet on the lion
This Is Cecilia People!
One channel managed to make a guide, they got all the answers they needed but it took them 5 hours interviewing all of them
God I love Detective Chief Cecilia Martini
AI: 1
Automaton: 0
classic tea & crumpets
Tea slurper is mad, lol
Man I Love Cecilia
nice game and cecilia.
Has Ame played this game yet?
Yes. Quite some time ago

They're never catching Advent, are they?
Naruhodo
Naruhodon't
How Intriguing

why no one plays this game right
