I've worked on both C-119s and C-47s and they can't be mistaken for one another at all. The C-119 is a twin boom boxcar with rear loading clamshell door power by two Wright 3350 turbo compound engines, is tricycle gear and is generally a piece of crap compared to the C-47 which is the military version of the McDonnell Douglas DC-3. The DC-3 is one of the most prolific Aircraft of all time that is a tail dragger powered by two Pratt and Whitney 2800 motors. Puff the Magic Dragon was base on the C-47 hence it's designation AC-47..... Like AC-130. If you are going to pass out information try to make it a little close. Just a thought.
3 having been a veteran I remember the days of Puff the Magic Dragon! Having been on the ground through multiple engagements with one of those was a lot of fun and brought hell to the enemy! Love seeing that Howitzer drop those big rounds On Target no gravity just pure feet-per-second impacting the ground! In country they used to save the heavy rounds or AG rounds and then use just straight dumb round because of the kinetic energy was enough to destroy a localized Target with no collateral damage it was incredible sight to see thank you for the video
