Thanks for your tutorials. I really enjoy watching them because I learn a lot from them. I would like to know how you achieve your piping royal icing consistency for your intricate designs. Can I achieve this using pasteurized egg white and icing sugar alone? I would really appreciate your recipe for this.
I'm glad you have learned from my videos. Yes, you can make royal icing with pasteurized egg white and icing sugar, however, if you toss some Cream of Tartar, the icing will hold up better. Here is my favorite recipe: ua-cam.com/video/M7osUvgi6YU/v-deo.html
Hello thank you for sharing your ideas Question is this cake covered by fondant or butter cream? So pure white Also is all decorations is with royal icing?? Gets heard and how is in taste dose people eat 😊?? And last cake and decorations all are pure white I love it Near future I am going to make wedding cake with your lovely royal icing design with no. 2 tips Do you have more design plz let me know Waiting for your reply reply?? 🤗😊
Hello Auntie this my second message I saw when design goes wrong you clean 😊can you plz tell what you use and hot to apply also can I do this design on butter cream cake because where I live customers don’t like fondant a lot Waiting for your reply
Auntie's Cakery can i hv d link of the royal icing that u make? it looks stiff can hold the shape for your borders but its easy to pipe, if i make it is very hard to pipe
Sure! If you want your royal icing extra fluffy, use Wilton Meringue powder. (For string work, I recommend pasteurized egg white) you can find both here : www.auntiescakery.com/?page_id=674
Royal icing...not buttercream? Do you have a tutorial for the consistency you use? I never thought about piping royal icing directly on a cake....I'm mind blown!!! This is a game changer for me 😍 You've got a 'subscribed' from me! 👍🏼👍🏼
Yes! I love piping royal icing, as it dries hard and Will NOT melt on a hot wedding day. (The cake might haha!) Thanks for the support! Happy Decorating.
I thought the same thing. I live in Texas just outside of Waco and I'm looking at the temperature in my car showing 110 degrees right now. I volunteered to make a 3 tier anniversary cake this coming Saturday for my in-laws. Aside from the fact I have not full on decorated a cake in 5 years, I am so worried about the up-and-coming 100 degree weather melting the whole thing. Do you use royal icing on all the piping or just the smaller more detailed things like string work?
@@raquelbrookelinder2715 Great question. You can't use butter cream and royal together. The moisture from the butter cream will break down the royal and anything you do in royal will deteriorate. That's why the string work, etc. is on fondant.
Thanks for watching! I don't use any stencils on this cake. I did create a pencil template on a sheet of parchment paper to transfer my design onto the cake. Thanks for asking :)
Here is a video on how I pipe the mini roses: ua-cam.com/video/y3R38DHB6Q4/v-deo.html Unfortunatly, I do not have a tutorial on how I made the BIG roses, but there are other youtube videos with instructions. It's a modeling chocolate rose. Good luck :)

It's covered in fondant, and decorated with Royal icing. I love the crunchy icing! It's like candy, but I see most people don't eat the icing anyway.
your cake is amazing, what is the recipe of the yarns on the air that you made on the bottom of the cake? kisses from Argentina
Hi Camila, I don't understand your question. But you can find my Royal Icing recipe here: www.auntiescakery.com/?page_id=674

This design can work on a buttercream cake IF you keep it cold, otherwise, the icing is too heavy to layer onto each other.
Muito lindo! Parabéns!
Phantastisch einfach nur phantastisch
Thanks!
wow ..you are an artist..did you cover it with fondant

Raquel, I use Royal Icing for all the pipped decoration.

Uma curiosidade! Suas decorações são feitas de glace real?
Yes! I decorated this with Royal Icing. Here is my favorite recipe: ua-cam.com/video/M7osUvgi6YU/v-deo.html
You are missing some piping dots one left side (as you are looking at the cake)
LOL! I noticed that too! (After I made the video of course.) You are very observant :) Thanks for your comment Maurine!
Please how do I get the stencils please advise. Thank you
