Ik it’s very underrated opinion but it’s one of my all time fav seasons personally, almost the entire cast was memorable and I liked the cast, and it one of the times where we really got to see the environment come to life and the challenges too,the overall theme was great,in my opinion it’s in my top 10 and it’s one of my most rewatched seasons
I'm still sad that people act like this season never happened. Danni had a great winning game and a lot of the cast really delivered as well. The Mayan theme was really cool too. It may not be the best season ever but it rests safely in the top half
There were too many dark haired males and pretty girls. There was no uniqueness outside of Stephanie, Rafe, Lydia, Judd, Gary, Amy, Danni, Jamie, Brian, and Margaret. But the casting wasn't that distinguishable.
This is one of my top 7 seasons easily, maybe top 5. It has everything from an unique and interesting location, to a great underdog story, to a surprising challenge beast, to the salty reaction of the “villain” getting voted out. It’s also the second season I watched fully and got me really into the show (Pearl Islands was my first, and while I liked it, seeing “All Stars” next on TV Guide half a year later made me hesitant for a while).
This wasnt a bad season by any stretch. It is just the most forgettable which is sad you have a great premerge villain in Brian the bait Blake strategy is surprisingly underused Judd Was an icon alone and Danni is an underrated underdog
This is such a good season. Like .. it was also so freaking tough the conditions. Rafe / Steph alliance rolling to the end together. I love this season
This season is a treasure. Most epic Survivor location only after season 3 (Africa), a good winner, as well as a memorable cast that hasn’t been overkilled by returnees. Margaret, Judd, Brandon, Lydia, Brian, Rafe, Gary, Cindy, etc. weren’t exactly “all-stars,” however they are all memorable. One of the best aspects about the old school Survivor seasons is that even the pre-merge/pre-jury players were usually very memorable and all had their moments that made for good TV. It’s a lost art in Survivor, which has become over-produced and unbearable in more recent years. The show used to feel more like a documentary set in a fascinating location with a competitive gameplay undertone.
As the first season of the show I remember watching (I maybe saw Palau or knew of it from my dad) I won't forget this season. Even if it's just Judd one of the great characters to ever grace the game.
It's interesting, as usually the 26-35 range produces the best chefs, so we'll for sure get another unique winner, but hoping we get our first 40+ winner ever!
@@haveanicedave1551 as a mechanic I assure you it isn't....most people don't like being told their brand new car is one of the worst ever made right out the box....Equinoxes (which is what a torrent really is) aren't a fix and drive for 10 years car, they're an everything breaks all at once and get rid of this money pit kind of car....in a nutshell most people don't have $2000 to spend on their car every time they bring it to the shop (and we know the owner ain't got money cus no car winner ever won survivor) so it largely just a waste of time for me/ the auto shop.
I've just re-watched this season & I still can't understand how Dani won...she did nothing!!!! She only won 1 immunity & it was one that was mainly based on luck, not skill. Her social game was okay, but nothing outstanding (unless it was the show edit). It was basically just another bitter jury, who couldn't accepted that they had been outwitted & outplayed by Stephanie & Rafe...I'm so glad in future seasons, that players start to respect the play of those that beat them & stop acting like little bitches (obviosuly except when its comes to Russell...LOL) And OMG Jamie was one of the most awful contestants...his behaviour especially after the merge was disgusting...It was really only Rafe & Stephanie that had any compassion for the 4 from Yaxhá...he was just rude & obnoxious for no particular reason.
Gary having to hide that he was an ex-NFL quarterback makes me miss old school reality television. Today, half of the cast are D-Z list celebrities. Hollywood culture has overtaken Survivor for years. It doesn’t feel like real people anymore.
i’m so glad this series is back just last week i was thinking about how much i missed it🥲 so excited for china and micronesia soon, my 2 favorite seasons🥰
Good to be back talking about Survivor! New In ____ Minutes video every Wednesday! What are your thoughts on Survivor Guatemala?

great to see this series back flynn!
An S tier season imo. Memorable characters, amazing location, brutal challenges/living conditions, introduction of the idol. Severely underrated.
I'm still sad that people act like this season never happened. Danni had a great winning game and a lot of the cast really delivered as well. The Mayan theme was really cool too. It may not be the best season ever but it rests safely in the top half

EASILY the most underrated season in Survivor History.
Agreed! One of my favs
Island of the idols too
Caramoan
Fiji too but Guatemala is a top 10 season
Tocantis
Apparently at the Final 4, Danni got really sick, so Rafe and Steph kept her over Lydia thinking she would be easier to beat at Finale Immunity
Yeah, and I also heard that Lydia was seen as the next Rupert out there in terms of popularity......lol
I genuinely enjoyed Guatemala MUCH MUCH more than some of the more commonly well-regarded seasons.

This was the last season, I watched from Survivor, but it was my favorite season specially love Cindy's exit speach and Jamie's game
This wasnt a bad season by any stretch. It is just the most forgettable which is sad you have a great premerge villain in Brian the bait Blake strategy is surprisingly underused Judd Was an icon alone and Danni is an underrated underdog
The disrespect in Bobby John Not voting for Steph to win when she placed him on the Jury herself in an act of mercy. SMH.
Bobby Jon and Steph didn't like each other very much. And during the "who would you remove from the jury" jury question Steph answered Bobby Jon
This is seriously an underrated season and does not get as much love as it should. I remember watching that 11 Mile overnight hike and that was brutal
I just finished my rewatch of this season yesterday and it was so good!
Really happy to see this series back :)
So happy to be posting then again!
This is such a good season. Like .. it was also so freaking tough the conditions. Rafe / Steph alliance rolling to the end together. I love this season
Thank you for posting the video. Can't wait for the next episode. :)
6:44- “On YAXHÁ” not Nakúm.
The most criminally overlooked season.
Hands down my favorite season of the ones I've seen so far
First use of the term "blindsided", first hidden immunity idol.... this is a big game changing season!
i loved this season
Wow, that was awesome! So glad to see Survivor in X minutes come back!
But anyways, um… All Stars in X minutes is listed as private, and… well… why?
It got blocked for some reason when I first posted it, planning on releasing that back out sometime this year
@@FlynnMasters sick! Thanks dude.
Love the Hell’s Kitchen content ! (But also been missing this series!❤)

I liked Guatemala. Gary was my favorite.

Absolutely love this season. Steph owned it
I feel like Brandon should’ve been on the jury
He's backkkkkk!
So a question more related on Hell’s Kitchen, what is your thoughts on the Battle of the Ages theme?
It's interesting, as usually the 26-35 range produces the best chefs, so we'll for sure get another unique winner, but hoping we get our first 40+ winner ever!
amy is by far my favorite pre jury player
Funny thing, I personally know Danni
Do we know if Brian or Rafe were contacted for Cambodia but ultimately declined the offer? They would have been great faces to see on the ballot.
Not sure if anyone other than Danni and Ami has been contacted to play again.....
@@FlynnMasters Amy would have been cool to see on the Second Chance ballot, too.
I love Danni, for me, one of the best winners
Finally, the series continues!
We're back baby !
welcome flynn
Oh my god that title 😭 💀
Same thoughts!!! Rafe shouldve been brought back as a hero in HvV over James!
I never understood why Gary thought he would be voted off for being an nfl team player? Like why would that matter?
Why haven’t Rafe or Brian returned? Or really anyone from this season?!
she won a pontiac torrent? thats not really a win
It's a win for an auto shop.

Also, Judd absolutely has ADD. (Probably ADHD but still)
I find Guatemala way more entertaining than Palau.
Palau was too slow for me, and i didn't like Tom as much.
And good riddance judd
