I’ve grabbed a handful of these the last month or so and I feel like they will be perfect for me to learn on. Glad I found your video and channel.
There are few if any objects that withstand the rigors of time and maintain their beauty much like a watch. Thank you for sharing your time.
Well said @khronosbest9448!
Nice results especially for a 100 year watch that was made for everyday use. Old stuff was made really well.
I'm glad this watch found a good home.
Thanks for your generosity Karl 👏. It was a nice one to work on.
How you could find a case to fit this watch so luckily ?
Nothing special, the vast majority of American PW used standard cases. The luck was getting an unused one.
@@redvitiswatches standard case but movements are not standard
What is that crinkleing sound??😂 great vid. 😊
That was the microphone. Sound was better the 2nd half when I removed the foam cover.
@RedVitis ...I was wondering...yes, the rebuild half was better
May i ask what solution you use to clean the parts? Thank you.
I make my cleaning solutions but make it a practice to not disclose the recipe.
