Absolutely spot on mate it helps get my head straight and now im having to convince my 35 year old daughter to start doing the same as shes going throught a real rough patch right now.👍
Cannot overstate how being immersed in nature improves my state of mind. I get little opportunity to enjoy the countryside, but when I do the benefit is immediate and dramatic. I've been hampered for several months by all the hot and sunny weather, now looking forward to some precious autumn and winter outdoor excursions.
Thanks Ben when things are tough we really have to dig deep sometimes and take a deep breath and take time outside is the best. All we can do sometimes is keep going and walk through the storms that come our way into brighter skies which always come. It also helps to realise that we all go through tough times
Totally agree with you, Ben. A much needed video for the tough times we ALL go through. I really struggle in the winter months. Hope you and your family are OK fella
Absolutely spot on Ben… I always feel so much better when I’m out in nature, didn’t get out this weekend, so definitely looking forward to getting back out next week 👍🏼
Getting outside, hiking, or just sitting in local woods, is what got me through Covid. That was a time that was messing with all of our heads, certainly did with mine, but nature delivered. It always does if you let it. Great vid Ben! ATB, Mark 👍
We couldn't agree or get behind this video more Ben. Absolutely spot on!👊 Time spent in nature is a must to restore the balance and keep our mental health cared for. We can see by the other comments that this has touched others in the same way. Heartfelt and brilliant. Thank you for letting others know sometimes it is ok to not be ok Have a great week All the best Shell and Pete😊👊👍
Brilliant video mate. I'm going through a tough time myself at the minute. Your talk was from the heart and it spoke to me. Thank you for the vids, take care mate.
Great advice Ben…sometimes I just pull up in a lay by in a nice area and have a coffee when I’m feeling crappy and can’t face a full day out exploring. Or lunch with a view.
My wife and I got ourselves E-bikes in march, I have heart issues she suffers from arthritis so we were not getting as much exercise as we needed, in the six months wince we got the bike my wife has done about 700 miles and I am close to 1000 miles, we both are a lot more alert, and I definitely feel more alive, I spend a lot of time on my own, I retired from work in 2016 due to stress and then found out I didn’t have any friends as they didn’t want to know me once I could not afford to go due to lack of funds. But getting out on the bike has helped no end
Lewis that’s so good that you and your wife found the e-bikes hobby. It sounds totally amazing. Outdoors is no judge and just helps us so much. Thanks Lewis.
There is a forest about 20 minutes away from me it has walking trails bike trails a river and believe it or not an actual pyramid I love to go there to walk and there are other regulars that i meet and talk too it's also beside a small village with a few family shops so if you need something before you go home you can get it...one of my favourite spots to spend a few hours walking and listening to podxasts on my phone.
Brilliant video on an important topic, forwarded it to a few friends who are also struggling. Turns out a mate is, didn't get to the woods but met him at the park for a coffee
Beautiful nature
Take care, love being outside
ON POINT
Wise words There's a deep connection between the soul and the great outdoors.
Thank you for a timely reminder Ben.😊
Being outdoors immersed in nature, wild camping, hiking, walking, swimming, all have been my saviour during these crazy times. 👍💚
A much needed reminder, thanks Ben ☺️
Yep totally agree🏆 went out today for a couple of hours on the mountain bike with a day back-pack on (lunch) was just the job👍
I absolutely agree! I’m out more than ever before!!
Good on you Gary 👍

Sending best wishes and hope life provides some more gentleness over the coming week.
Thanks and thanks for watching.
Sound advice Ben. Long may the outdoors remain gree and accessible to us 🤞👍
I meant 'free' 😂. 'Gree ' is good too, when it has an 'n' on the end of it 🙄!
This is the way. Gentle exercise and being outdoors is great for the body and mind. Spread the word!
Totally!

It so does.

Totally!
Good advice Boss 👌
Cheers Mr D.
Had I not discovered hiking and travelling, who knows if I'd even be around today. Cheers Ben! Also, that wooden cup looks like a wild haggis. ;)
Thanks Russ. I think it’s meant to be a wild boar but just not sure!

Sounds like a good strategy there. 👍

Thanks!
Nice one, best wishes🙂!...
Thanks
We’ve become so discombobulated by the noise of life we now need tech to remind us that things are not right….. is it really a bad thing though?
Well said Hardy.
I like you piggy mug lol
It’s either a pig or a bear! Still not sure!
