Thank you so much for sharing this! I think the photographer thing is so important, if you don't like what you get from the engagement, you won't like the wedding photos & it's totally okay to change photographers! My friends booked a photographer who sucked and I had to photograph the whole day instead 😭 future brides, don't skimp on your photographer budget and don't be scared to change photographers if you don't like their behavior or shot style!
I'm confused. Didn't they have a contract with the photographer and cake Baker? They didn't organise things properly

I felt this to the core 😭😭 especially #1. We had the BEST engagement photographer and wanted her so bad for our wedding but she was a little out of our price range 😢 if I could do it all again, I would have picked her. Our wedding photographer was okay, but the quality was really lacking in most of the photos.
About the day after the wedding, I 100% agree 😂 happened to us too. They made us come to the house for a “family reunion” and it was not a vibe
It sucks when brides aren’t happy with the pictures.🥺 it’s literally the most important thing.

Did you have a wedding consultation with your photographer and give her a list of photos that may be important to you? Most photographers ask for that... :)
No, she didn’t! I didn’t even think to tell her because I thought that’s what every wedding photos should already have. 😅
@@vitakolb that’s definitely unprofessional of her not to have a consultation. Otherwise, the photographer won’t know what your vision for the wedding photos are, etc. sorry to hear about that
I’m not married yet - but everything I’ve read says you should make a list to give to your photographer - they don’t know everyone’s family dynamics and is not in charge of pulling people. That’s a maid of honor role.
It would've made the video more interesting if you would have put a picture of each of these elements you discussed.

Why was your cake fake ??? I had a three tier cake and it was all real lol. Also I decorated my own cake table beforehand with the serving stuff.
a lot of people made fake tiers to save money because nobody really eats the whole thing anyways.
I'm also so sorry your cake was messed up and that she acted so poorly about it. It was her fault that it was the bottom layer was fake
I dont recommend going to your honeymoon right away.. everyone I know who went right away said that it’s the worst and to go a few days after. Just don’t pick up the phone and don’t go to family reunion?? So weird. No one forced you to go.
Your photographer should have asked for a shoot list or you should have provided one to her. However, I understand that you may not have know that was needed if the photographer never talked about it. I mean, this was your first Rodeo, not hers.
yeah, I honestly didn’t even think of giving her a list of things I wanted. I also thought it was common sense to always get a photo with parents. lol

I wonder if you had to pay for the fake layer of cake? If so it makes no sense for it to be fake if your still paying for it anyway I mean the lady had to put frosting on anyway. Sorry that you had to deal with that when you should have been in chill out mode.
that is such a shame about your photographer. 😩 it's never too late to get gussied up and take replacement family photos!
side note - I hope none of your bridesmaids are watching. 😬 lol jk I totally get it. I had been in enough weddings with huge bridal parties that by the time I got married, I only wanted two. loved your take on things!
Haha I sold my dress already, so that’s not possible.😅 plus it’s not the same when it’s not your actual wedding.
I love all my bridesmaids so much, don’t regret having them. Just saying if you have a choice of have less, I would do so.☺️
The fake cake is madness. Why on Earth would she produce a fake layer. That’s so odd.
Sorry but it’s kind of on you to have that discussion with your photographer, you can’t blame them for not knowing what you haven’t told them. Also PLEASE speak more clearly, I’ve had to stop watching with how many times you say literally and like 😶
