Who's going to be the one that's going to break it to him that the s is silent?
For some reason alot of people say it with the s
They both sound horrible in different ways. The glass packs on the first one makes it sound like an old farm truck, the tips look awful and he needs to fix that smoking engine problem. The second would sound good if they kept the h-pipe on it. Should have made both tailpipes instead of reusing the old one. Both are fails in my book.
I really like the sound of the glass pacs....
I respect Flowmasters 40s for what they are, but as I get older I either do Flowmaster 10s, flow fx, or borla s types or straight pipe on some vehicles.
I may be the odd man out here...but I like that my Merc is quiet. 🤓
Yes, they look ridiculous with these pipes and loud exhaust. These are cruisers not exhaust bombs.
Those vibrants sound so mean! 😍
dang, the older mercury not broken in yet with only 76k knowing they go 300-400k
My friend got a dark purple 1995 mercury grand marquis with 563,738 miles on it and it never breaks down all engine and transmission are original his dad bought it when it was brand new
@@nelsonmuntz3041 those cars are solid, I've had 3 Crown Vics, I never had an engine or transmission failure and I'm the type of person who drives a lot, My current 2008 Vic is at 244,000 miles, bought it 4 years ago with 160,000 miles no let down yet
Mines only got 74k still bought it with 62k miles , has a weird ticking noise but it runs good none the less
The tips stick too far out in my opinion but sound’s beastly none the ness
It'll get shorter after midnight
@@730F-Sport 😂😂😂
none the ness huh
@@fcbalexis1 " less" i fat fingered it without even realizing it
That digital dash 🔥🔥🔥
Never fails to amaze me how folks are more interested in doing some modifications to their vehicles while at the same time not spending their cash on actually doing repairs.
Buddy is toolin’ around with a check engine light and the other noob has brake problems.
Look after your vehicle needs and then get the want’s.
Last point.
Buddy. Clean your frickin’ car’s interior!
Thank you so much. Glad it's not just me who thinks that way.
Hows the ride on your huffy bike u sound pissed you dont own a car
Not your car . That's why 😂
I have a 1997 Mercury grand Marquis gs same color, I cut off muffler and it’s straight pipe right now sounds like a muscle car! I want to do dual exhaust. I’ll be uploading vids of the grand marquis.
I had a H pipe and two cherry bomb mufflers on my 97 grand marquis... had a more mellow sound... I loved it
Love the look of those aero body Grand Marquis and Vics
I think i'm gonna stick to the first one because of the deeper sounds than the other one
The Vibrants are bad ass!!!!!
I love my glasspacks but damn those vibrants sound nice n mean
Fye 😤
Arizona viewer here how I wish I could take my 2.3 Accord to you guys
Imma come down there and have you fix up my 2006 Mercury Marquieeeeeeesssse with some glasspacks. I want keep it right under 100 decibels.
I've been thinking about lightly modding my exhaust with a hi flow converter. Already tucked the exhaust so it's not visible
Bro the tips on the older one lol
Mann 03 Grand Marquie sounds awesome after u got rid of knockoff exhaust stuff .
You let him leave with those tips like that?
I have no cats just a couple inches from flange running near headers til i get my long tube headers
Sounds good when applying lots of throttle. --How about concerns over droning at a steady highway rpm on long, long trips? Is is mellow enough so it's a distant hum and not an irritation? (I know everyone is different & has a different tolerance but what is your thoughts on that?).
I have the glasspacks from the first car, not a crazy drone but it gets a little annoying on the highway if you’re driving for more than a couple hours. I went with 14 inch bodies so maybe a 16 or 18 would be better
how much does it cost to get something like this done actually sounds so mean 🔥 going more for the vibrant
I just bought A 2000 Lincoln presidential town car . It’s got 100k mileage, so it’s in good condition. I’m thinking of doing some mods , any suggestions? I seen stuff about using the parts from mustangs around the same year 2000
Yea Mustang rims. Those Panther cars are the best!
I need some of these how much ?
So the glass packs do muffle much better than the vibrants.
Second one new pipe and old rusty one
Oh hell no! That's still way too quiet. Sounds no different than a stock Lincoln Town Car, and that's a damn shame 🤨Owners should have just run open manifolds, which is hands down the best setup and provides optimal back pressure, ride quality and increased seating capacity in these Mercury Grand Marquis 4.6L's.
“Seating Capacity” 🤣😂🤣☠️💀☠️
This is satire right? No manifolds would mean absolutely no back pressure, and anything over 100-105db is gonna drone like crazy
@@calebmeyer8334 Nah, he's definitely serious.
Does these mods, can add you some extra hp?
They added 10-15 HP 🤷🏾♂️
Those cats gotta be hollow
Beaufiful cars 😎😎😎😍😍😍
How much would it cost me for a straight pipe Honda civic 2001 coupe Dx
$2,000
@@shaggy7581 I paid $1,700 for it...
@@williammoreno8047 DUMB!!
don't do that shit🤦♂️
You’re not supposed to pronounce the s in marquis
lol Ockiir or Oscarrr? Doesn't matter how it's pronounced.
You can go back to watching Speed Racer now.
Yeah, don't pronounce the French word Marquis incorrectly, also you should drill holes in all the cats..
YEP. It's silent, like the P in fish. 😁
Ryan for president #Ryan2024
Entirely too loud for a slow 4 speed boat. Resonator plus a straight through would be ideal.
How to ruin the panther car sound step one fuck with the h pipe step 2 true duals
Yeah, what the f**k does "True Duals" mean ??
Probably hafta search the Hillbilly Dictionary -- you know, the one with pictures. 😁
Your are saying marquis wrong. It's mar-key, not mar-keice.
Do ya really think they give a s**t !??
Pero que mierda estoy escuchando eso es para un coche deportivo no uno de lujo
Not for ANY car, Hugo -- Stupidly loud !!
😠😠😠😠
I know you guys are good, but I didn’t know your exhaust work increased ride quality and seating capacity.🫤🤨🤓
I don’t get it ?
You have to read all of Ryan’s comments.
@@Stj209 Sounds like something Lord "Open Manifolds" would say😂😂😂
2 words. X. Pipe.
