8 years ago I purchased 2 rough Citroen SM’s from this guy and had them shipped to the UK for restoration. I sold one and kept the other and 8 years on it is nearing the finish line.
Alex is a super nice honest humble guy, but the Beverly Hills Car Club has an unjustified reputation here in the United States as only selling "rust bucket" junk. I never thought that way. He sells everything from excellent to cars needing"total restoration! He honestly prices his cars accordingly! PS Your audio is awesome with Alex on the left channel;you right! True stereo! Cool!
Been there three times to BHCC and the cars are awesome from complete to projects. Alex keeps lots of his own cars spread out amongst the many warehouses on site. I am amazed at the way the staff bring in the cars, photo them and put into stock. Alex was also inspired by a 300sl gull wing in Harrogate, Yorkshire. Just for the record BHCC is not in Beverley Hills but in an industrial area of LA.
I have no idea how I found this show, but I love it. And the guy is from Liverpool--the first UK City I ever visited, straight from Gatwick Airport to the place. Anyway, I could have watched two more hours of this.
What a Video! What a Collection, What a Guy! He had a triple green '68 Charger 383 4-speed in stock years back when I was in Beverly Hills, CA. He sold the bloody thing before I could even put an offer down!!..still remember I didn't feel let down, though. Seriously, this guy looks after people. Tanto Amore😎😎😎
Thank you for this video I often go on his website to see what cars are for sale and thank you for giving us a view of what the warehouse looks like. Thank you. One day maybe I will buy one of his cars from him especially when I see the Aston Martin’s and the Porsches for sale. Well thank you for sharing your visit here in Los Angeles. Thank you.
What a humble fella he is Gary, you must have been in absolute heaven in there, i know i would be, id love to bring one of those classics back to liverpool with that great service he provides there. Great vlog again ( John again).
Thanks so much for taking me around BHCC. I just bought (I prefer 'adopted') my 1970 Bentley T1 from BHCC and had it delivered across the country to Vermont. I think the car kind of freaked out when it saw the snow. Sam Mansour was my sales contact and was a pleasure to work with as was Ali in the shipping department. I thought for a brief second I saw my silver Bentley tucked in behind the Rolls you took a brief look at. I did my entire transaction via phone and internet so it's great to see the whole place and listen to Alex's story. Ok, now I have to go back and re-watch all your Corniche videos to really prepare myself for the work I plan to accomplish on the Bentley. Thanks Gary.
Gary, an amazing selection of cars. This man’s knowledge and yours, is impressive. The incredible expansion in his stock holding over 15 years is extraordinary. Thank you for sharing.
Great eclectic mix over there ,handy to see an Opel GT again after restoring one the same colour back in 83 with those wacko cable operated swivel pod headlights.. thanks again Gary for the retro memory shaker
I bought an Aston DB2/4 from them a couple of years ago, and have been close to buying a couple of other motors. Actually aiming to make a bid for one of their C3s at some point… Very cool to see what the place is like.
Hey Gary - Hope you are well ! Wow ...thats some place he has over there ! Amazing how his business has grown over the last 15 yrs ; he has some suoer cars and looks like he can accomodate even a modest budget....Really enjoyed this . cheers, stew
What a nice man! And what a collection of fantastic cars! I would just love to visit that place. But I can't believe he is English and calls the Jags, Jag-waars, not Jag- U -Ars. Lol
WOW!!! fantastic!! I might grab a BB Spyder for my pad on the cote?? or a charming Ghia?? or a MUSTANG!!! 12k dollars for a sweet ride?? but a Fix It Again Tony ??
No way! I was seriously looking into that car! Actually they had 2 willow green ones. I was looking at the cheaper one for around $6000 with the whitewall tires. Congrats! Which one did you get? I settled on a 420 with a 4spd. manual with overdrive! I;m stoked! And it's all mechanically rebuilt.
The Corvair I think was an exceptional car. Allegedly, Hampered by a motor Journo who sabotaged the car on its release saying it was dangerous and prone to going on fire. All totally untrue and without even seeing it. His review subsequently scared prospective buyers off. Shame. Regards.
Varied collection. What is particularly interesting is quite a lot of convertible cars, and to think the USA had intentions of banning them under safety regulations at one time, but later changed their minds.
You guys pronounce Cadillac Cadeelac --- we don't tell you how to pronounce it. What is it with you bitchy Britz telling everyone how to speak? I believe the Jaguar is an African animal, no? I'm sure they have their own way of saying it, so just relax, will ya.
These guys sell dreams, not cars. Many do not run- you might notice that many of their cars are being pushed. The "dreamers" who buy these kind of cars better be talented restorers because (proessionally done) refurbishing costs will be higher than value/cost of a 'done' car. I used to be in that business, I have seen a ton of projects that just weren't going to be finished. Actually, Alex buys those too....

That’s incredible. Never seen anything like that before! How does he buy and sell so many cars like that it’s mind boggling 😲
Lovely episode - learning so much from your discussion. Thanks for sharing this content Gary!
10/10- Excellent!👌
Nice to hear a Scouser 👍
Very well presented. Revealing these little known places is of great interest.
WHAT an inventory/collection, quite spectacular. I shudder to think what the value of everything is. Thank you Gary, for letting us share.
Great episode. I sold my 1964 E-type coupe to Alex. He’s a great guy to work with!
I love the walk and talk. Thank you!

I thought so too, but the cars in this film look very clean.
Well done to Alex. What an accomplishment to have created a business like that! Living the dream, mate!
wow! how many cars does he have, he seems a nice guy, great video.

Oh gawd that 928 GTS, I think that's the colour that's the most fitting for the 928, that sort of colour.

What a nice man! And what a collection of fantastic cars! I would just love to visit that place. But I can't believe he is English and calls the Jags, Jag-waars, not Jag- U -Ars. Lol
this place looks better than what I have heard about them I wonder what kind of quality these are
They range from concourse to full resto. Regards.
WOW!!! fantastic!! I might grab a BB Spyder for my pad on the cote?? or a charming Ghia?? or a MUSTANG!!! 12k dollars for a sweet ride?? but a Fix It Again Tony ??

A most enjoyable half an hour. Great way to start my day. Now, where did I put that 9/16th ?
Lived in LA for 20 years and I’ve never been there.
Alex is great
Nice walk. 😎🤙🌺
My willowgreen 1967 Jaguar 420 is somewhere there, too. No idea why nobody bought it yet.
13:38 looks the same going forwards and backwards!

Alex seems like such a nice fella.
Thank you Gary for another great episode. For me, the split mike setting makes it a bit hard to hear.
Mike Brewer bought a white MGA from this guy on Wheeler Dealers
When you market blitz the internet with "We buy Classics" of course you'll have plenty of inbound supply of cars.
Webber carburettor ‘s Italian, perhaps the best questionably
Delorto’s are good also Will and I agree, the webbers are certainly easier to set-up. Regards.
It must snow a lot in LA
Some place...
New favourite web site, such a pity no longer 1.6$ to the £.
You should tell that guy they’re not “Jagwar “ they’re pronounced “ Jag-You -are “
😂 Not to Americans they are not !..

Some nice looking cars in the video, but most cars offered by Beverly Hills Car Club look rode hard and put away wet.
:D
nice cars, poor audio!
Beverly Hills car company have a terrible reputation
I noticed they had several poor reviews.
On the contrary, I had a great experience with my recent purchase from BHCC.
Alex doesn't sound remotely English ffs
Because he's smart.
make sure to delouse after visiting that one. total slime ball. You may need to quarantine upon return to His Majesties England.
I’m just glad you can finally understand me now!! Regards.
