Welcome to the Madwitch Channel A gentle wander threw a few books on embroidery stitches, designs and ideas for those interested in hand sewing. enjoy your stitching
Although I probably will never embroider a single stitch, I do enjoy all aspects of your craft and crafts. Thank you so very much fo a beautiful video 🙏💜🙏
Oh! Those flower fairies! I had that book, and now my daughter has it. I may have to borrow it back from her. I adore fairies and the fae. I'm feeling the spark of wanting to hand embroider again. If it involves a needle or hook, I love it. Can't wait for more fabric and thread videos from you.😊
I watched your video this morning drinking tea, a sketch book, a pack of tarot cards, oracle cards and a book beside me and planning another sewing project to add to my others I have on the go. We try to do it all 😂 Watching your video was a lovely way to start the day. ❤🍒
I am a sewer, knitter and papercrafter as well as a tarot user. Looking at the other comments, there is definitely a set of people who are into both, so you are not alone! I'm looking forward to your sewing content.
❤❤ delighted to meet you ! I'm looking forward to showing more but I'm not very good at sewing and videoing...😂😂😂😂 thank you so much for popping in to the cottage xxx
It's funny because I dud thus last week but I've being pulling out colouring books this week too ...I totally agree and both addictive 😏😍🥰🥰🥰 thank you for watching ..lovely to see you again xxx
I think that little block is Bees wax to keep your embroidery thread smooth. What a lovely collection of books you have there 😊I used to love to do embroidery. When my girls were babies i used to make their dresses and hand smock them. I wish a few had survived the moves. The dresses i mean lol the kids survived 😂😂 I do have a Bonnet i made my daughter Celeste somewhere around here she looked too cute in it. I made a Grandmothers fan quilt when they were little in pretty little flower pastels and we would take it to the lake and plop the babies on it. I used to sell those kinds of things at the Fairs we had up in Maine. Where has the time gone ? I am so glad you are enjoying your sewing projects. They used to bring me great Joy as well 😊I thought that embroidery book with the shoes was so clever 😊The shoe with the mushroom heel made me giggle. You are right about how it is easy sticking to some basic stitches but lots of fun to learn new ones. It is also a great idea to use children's books for inspiration. I love the Beatrix Potter ones. Embroidered Country Gardens looked Fab. Enjoy your projects and thanks so much for the video and sharing 🥰 Much love and many Blessings ! ❤❤🙏🙏🌹🌹
Now I think you sounds like a very experienced sewer and very talented too ! It's always sad when things are lost...one of my first ventures was a Winnie-the-Pooh cross-stitch with Christopher Robin ...I completed it but ever had it framed and it got lost 😭 such a shame ...but I live exploring so now is a good time for me to learn ...the sewing channels I've recommended are very good therapy for passing time ...💚💚💚 thank you again for joining me here xxx
@@madwitch9977 Thank you so much 🌹You are so sweet 🍬🍬Oh no ! That stinks ! Maybe when you get some of your Amazing projects you are doing now done you could try and re-create your Winnie-the Pooh with Christopher Robin 😊That might bring back the nostalgia and accomplish another Amazing project. It makes you wonder what happened to it, it's almost like the house eats them lol. I commend you for taking on these new projects and it is good to set one project aside for awhile and come back to it with a different view point. I will have to check out some of your channel recommendations but i don't think i would enjoy anyone more than you 😊You are so down to Earth and really speak to my heart 🌹Much love XOXOXO
Book love💜📚 I have a collection of all styles embroidery books also. My embroidery is so basic and simple, but I do enjoy looking through them for inspiration or just big admiration!
I've seen snippets of your embroidery and its absolutely gorgeous....I love your style ..the sun moon you did was amazing...I'd love to see more ....pleeeaaaase xxxx
I do love a good visual book for general mental meditation. It has been some 20hrs so far, and I still haven't finished my stitching. However, I wouldn't have tried it without your inspirational videos 😊💛
I'm like you ! Wanting to get to the finish ...but then I realised just slow down and enjoy it ...plus get zither project going 🤣🤣🤣 I'm honoured to inspire you ...you have so much talent . .I said to Grace we need to start a witchy coven of stitchery 🥰🥰🥰🥰
the block you asked about...it's just a block of beeswax. It keeps the threads from knotting and tangling. You just draw your thread through it before stitching.
Don't start a 2nd channel, it's a hassle XD post whatever makes YOU happy and people will follow. :) ♥ Thanks for the recommendations, saving it for later!
