- On this video you will see nonstop fpv drone freestyle, done with a DJI Avata 2. Many people are getting surprised with how I use this drone. My goal is to break barriers and do justice for this cinewhoop. Watch how you could freestyle this Avata 2, way beyond cinematic levels.
Had to cut the day shorter due to the rain, but it was absolutely worth it. No warmups, full send and very consistently. Don't miss the next rips. Stay tuned.

I just got my Avata 2 first drone ever. At 54 yrs old I’m not sure I have the reaction time to get this good. You show how amazing that little drone really is. Sounds amazing !!!!
@@jimw3852 54 is the new 24. Start on sports mode and get comfy. Then fly manual mode for some insane freestyle experience. Feel free to ask any fpv questions.

@@dronarchy hey man. just a question about the avata comared to the avata 2, i assume you have flown both. Is it worth the upgrade? the avata 1 doesnt have the power you need for certain tricks.

@@335jz6 as you can see, you can do a lot with this drone. Remember it's a cinewhoop, and you can freestyle it if you can control your throttle.
That is just impressive, when I switch from motion controller to the fpv controller, I hope to reach this level at some point

@@dronarchy I definitely did. How your acrobat is insane. I had to rewind a couple of your combinations of turns, flips, and tight squeeze, saying stuff like, "how they hell did he do that?" Then I start looking at your hands on the controller and said to myself, "yeah, I can't do that 😅". You got skills man. It's gonna be awhile before I get use to flying my avatar 2.

Hello, the flight looks very good and stable. There was a propeller imbalance after the dive in Avata 1 and 2, but I couldn't see it either, it's very stable. How did you do this?

must do a super jerky move to get any propwash. This thing flies so smooth, it's unreal.
@@dronarchy I had my first crash today, supposedly due to prop wash during a turn. Granted I am an FPV beginner, but I didnt think that turn was brutal at all and I don't really understand why it happened . What would you call a "super jerky" move ? Sick piloting by the way 👍

Does the avata feel like a sim/ other fpv drone for freestyle ?
if you have flown a cinewhoop before, then you will know that slower and heavy feel to it. This is why I crank up the rates and fly it like a 5" 😉. Promlem solved.

Did you make any modifications to the drone? I heard that there is a power limitation in the EU. Your drone looks much more powerful than those of some EU pilots I've seen. Of course, you also have epic skills, so thumbs up for that, sir.
yes EU has some vtx limitations, but for freestyle should be enough video penetration. Using custom HQ props, top 3d cover and bumpers.

One question, I see you doing a lot of fast turns with the avata 2, but when I do it, it almost every time do some crazy movements that does not make sense, and normally I have to pause to avoid crashes. Did you do anything different to avoid it or is any config? I have this problem everytime that I fly my avata 2 😕
calibrate your Avata 2. Go to Settings > Control > Gimbal Calibration

the props are HQ with a lower 2.7 pitch. Better for control and less current consumption.

@@Katsoulinos Only changed the rates and expo. DJI needs to sell this drone with the RC3 controller as a separate combo.
@@dronarchy Sure but then nobody would enter the FPV hobby since that nobody can fly manually. The motion controller is the best marketing tactic in my opinion. I just got the Avata 2 and I made some very interesting flights with the motion controller. Nothing like this I see here. I bought the remote controller 3 but I can't manage to hover steady in liftoff simulation. Is it really like that in real life? there's no zero point as steady altitude hovering? or am I doing something wrong? In general, should is just go out and fly until I learn or the simulation worth the time spent in sim flights?

What did you adjust the rates too? I cant make the tight yaw freestyle turns I normally do with my freestyle drones without the avata 2 almost lossing control. My Avata 2 flys well for baby acro stuff but Anything agressive it loses control. I do love it for fast cinematic stuff but not acro atm.
true, full acro like a 5" will never be the same. But you can do all pro tricks and more if you control your throttle.

@@IncredibleGaming this drone has the O4 system, which is more advance and proficient than the O3. If you get one make sure you grab some ND filters and film great shots.

What angle is ur camera typically set at?
usually 35, but sometimes i bring it down to 20 or 25 depending on what I want to film.

v1 and v2 are engineered for cinewhooping and powerful enough for it. What I'm doing here is freestyle justice due to all the UA-cam fake pilots out there talking with extreme ignorance, you know... all these influetards with silly thumbnails on UA-cam. Someone has to clean the image of the Avata with real execution. Now you know what you can do with this aerial film tool 🫶

what mods do you have and how do they each affect performance individually, atm i have a bumper on it made from 3d printed pla carbon fiber but it weighs 50gs
I use the @originaldobo bumper, Dronarchy Top cover and HQ DT 2.7 props for extra control with lower pitch. These props are from v1, so you need shorter screws!
