3 The Lady | Jervis Bay Symphonic Suite | Graeme Hindmarsh

"The Jervis Bay Symphonic Suite" was written between 2006-08 and is a celebration of the magnificent Jervis Bay National Park in NSW, Australia. Musically, it's an intriguing snapshot into where virtual orchestra technology was in those days and, from a technical standpoint, today it sounds quaintly dated. It's a product of its time but many pieces still remain relevant and engaging. Enjoy!
3. "The Lady" refers to the Lady Denman, a ferry built in Huskisson in 1911. She spent most of her working life transporting passengers across Sydney Harbour. Since her decommission, she now resides in the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum in Huskisson where she is the centrepiece of their collection.
