Reaching the limits of the Svartpilen 401 off road

- Riding the Svartpilen off road it quickly becomes clear this is a street bike with knobby tires. Up hill you lose traction quickly with the back tire if you give it much throttle at all. If you try to baby it up hill the bike dies. The suspension limit is found very quickly. But on a regular gravel road this bike does very well. Even tough it’s not the best off road scrambler this bike is so much fun to ride. But from now on it’s back to the Norden 901 of me off road.

I’m glad you like it but I don’t know if that would be good for my channel
@@xpeditionpgh No worries, I understand!
Did you adjust the suspension at all before going off road?
Only a few clicks on the front forks. I don’t think you can adjust the rear suspension on this bike. Can you?
@xpeditionpgh the latest one I think you can. The Svartpilen has been on my radar for a bit. I want to get a street legal bike to save time loading up a dirtbike and my 4 main parameters are adjustable suspension, spoked wheels, frame, and maintenance. I'm not looking for a trail bike but something strong and agile enough to he fun on gravel and dirt roads. A true scrambler, not a bike that looks like one. Also was this filmed in Washington County?
Is this the new 2024 model?
It’s the 2023
"Reaching the limits of the Svartpilen 401 off road"
The biggest clickbait I've seen this week.
Sorry I didn’t think it was click bait. What do you mean?
@@xpeditionpgh It seems more like you reached your limits than the bike's. That said, I actually enjoyed watching & seeing you embrace the challenges. Earned another sub. Good job!
