why the hell you buy speakers like this if you have then behind the monitor they need to be before the monitors or next to it.
They sound pretty good! Love the surround sound! Might have to pick these up because they have one on sale at my local Walmart for $35

Good and useful video, although some time should have been given to hooking up the speaker system to the PC, as that was mostly bypassed.
welp i bought them but didnt get a 3.5mm cable i cant use them yet 😅

I had to remove the center cardboard to put it back.
Some things to note, I was surprised to see your version come with a 3 pin plug and was removable. Mine was not removable and was only 2 pin
I bought them many years ago today I bought the Edifier Studio R1700BT my qestion, can you connect the Logitech Z506 with a TV? I have a good TV but it's speakers are bad I still want to use them (for something) if possible.
Oh man, you had to mute the audio test. I guess you got a copyright strike you should’ve used NCS!
How were you able to make this work?? The computer thinks these are rear but won't work in 5.1 only in 7.1

6 feet for front and 15 feet for rear.

After nine years, I finally got the centre speaker to wall mount on top of my TV. I didn't have a TV when I got the Z506, but it's made a difference!! I have the TV on a desk and I know it's too thick for the wall mount.

Nice sounding pair of speakers, but dat din enclosure kinda ugly, I would've liked if they use a enclosure that looks like the z313 of z213 :)..No hate that's just how I feel

The sound quality is pretty good even on camera but the thing is that for your setup you actually needed only 2.1 setup as there is no space for 5 speakers
hey man my speakers do not seem to be getting the volume they should I have them hooked up to TV rear speakers have very little sound I have used extensions for rear speakers somethings not right,,HELP
you could have waited some time for better sub and speakers

You can only set up the Bass level
Using the Equalizer software that came with your PC and or device can help you decrease and increase treble and bass
I used these when Battlefield 3 came out hahah best bang for your buck

Just plugging the green 3,5mm jack will get you 2 channel audio, which makes buying a 5.1 speaker set pretty stupid. If you want to use these speakers properly you need to set them up in correct positions and hook them up properly so you can use all 5 channels (6 if you include LFE). If you don't have the equipment these can be properly connected to then just get a 2.1 or a 2.0 speaker set. You have some great options for the same price.
TibzzTube what cables and what else do we need to use these speakers properly with a tv? i have a Samsung smart tv and i think they'll be worth connecting with it.

Oliver Maynard I don't have an Amazon Echo Dot but I did check specifications on CNET and it does say that it has a 3.5 mm audio out so it would work
