Daily Devo | Frustration with the Lack of Justice & Understanding (Ecclesiastes

The raw pursuit of pleasure obviously led to bad places but the pursuit of wisdom also seems to lead to a dead-end. The Teacher explains that wisdom never seems to secure true justice, and true understanding seems always out of reach. Is there a better way?

This devo helps me so much… questions lurking in the background all these years… Wisdom has its limitations, faithfulness is the ultimate meaning to life; the world will always be confounding, accept that I will not understand everything every time; grace doesn’t come at the expense of justice - imitate God in being graceful and just at the same time; and every gift and pleasure can be good when it is in its place. Lifelong journey to be faithful and be content, and not to displace God by controlling (even when I pray I sometimes can be so specific that I realize I am telling God what to do and have to stop….) Thank you!
