Im the nth owner of my 03, got it 3yrs ago, had all the dash lights on when i got it but it ran fine. I've spent more money than what I got it for but the heart doesn't think. It just enjoys the smiles per gallon everytime I drive it, 20k miles so far, many more to go. Take care of your truck and it will take care of you. Cheers!
I love that thank you dude yeah i fell for this thing hard in the little time i had it and short distance i driven it. I plan on getting full brakes and oil services then it will become my daily, maybe dabble in some suspension stuff but the stance is perfect as it is right now so idk
I thought so too dude! Super clean coolant and good looking oil it was well worth risk imo! What year is yours? And how many miles? Mines at 98k and and im nervous about the sleeves slipping at any point lol i hear hella horror stories.
Oh i remember my 1st and last time changing the coil pack the same way you did. It sucks! On my 4th & 5th Land Rover after always trading up in years started with 98 now I have 03 disco & 06 LR3. Doing all the maintenance as well as major repairs on my Rovers. I learned a lot of easier ways of doing things. If you ever have to change the coil pack again go with the Coil Pack Relocation Kit - Land Rover Discovery 2 - ERR6045TWS Motors SKU:WSCPRK1 Comes with new Bracket and hardware, plug wires. It mounts the coils above the alternator. Video's are on UA-cam. I hope you keep it. They are great rigs. Good luck
Thats a great suggestion and im sure i will be in there again doing god knows what. I will definitely do that. And im keeping her for sure actuallu working on getting full brake kits and fluids for it, also talked to a coating company about a paint match gloss “line-x” for the top and fender flares
@@Jimmydoinstuff I cracked the coolant vent valve housing (temp fixed), but all else went well, most maintenance done on the weekend yet. Fan belt too.
@@walker_skiesspencer7901 hell yeah brother yeah its ashame the amount of plastic stuff on these trucks and after all these years it gets so brittle but they make up for it in coolness lol
I had to do the coils on my D2...it suuuucked!!! I'd keep that bad boy if I was you...or sell it to me dirt cheap LOL! I love the white color, my X used to have a white one with tan interior. It was frikin mint. I have a silver one with the back seats removed to carry my bike inside. Favorite truck of all time.
Hahaha i love that dude, jealous a little bit about the tan interior thatd be mint. But yeah im trying to figure out if im going to do a 2”lift (i am definitley gonna keep it) i cannot find and stock shocks and springs thats not cheaper than a lift kit…. I love the stance now is the problem with my 265/60 r18
Hahaha thanks big dog! Yeahh shes been quite the gem, i swear everytime i start it i’m like ugh whats gonna break next hahaha. Im thinking about going for a full overland build on it and can only imagine how much she will like that lmao
@@Jimmydoinstuff Hahahah yes I’m the same on every start up looking at the ultragage what code might come up this time 🤣🤣🤣 Will wait for more videos on the Disco 👌🏼
@@ccracraft32 its got 98k soooo im assuming they are good but we shall see i plan on doing a LS33 swap if she decides to blow on me… however the coolant was very clean before i flushed it and i changed the water pump and even put a 180degree thermostat in soo maybe thats enough to keep her healthy.

try some barkeepers friend and a scrubby pad...not too abrasive. this will bring the shine back to the aluminum.
Great idea!

The glue in the headliner fails over time. Nothing to do with the sun roofs.
@@MikeFitzmauriceNz i have a great video showing how to repair sunroof motors and how to remove the headliner to repair that as well.
Not helpful....... perhaps more work and less talk would hav helped
