This is nostalgic. I remember playing Crit assassin when you have +8 triple critical jur you're famous in your school. When I was in high school some computer shops setups had speakers and not a headphone so everyone can hear what you are playing the sound of the crit was so loud and crisp it was the famous build back then.

back in the day I played on Chaos and I was about level 62-63 assassin and I remember being in the Payon dungeon killing sohees for day. I never could get my hand on a soldier skeleton card, the drop rate was so rare. Personally I love how rare card truly were to get in RO. I believe some were 1 in 20,000. Remember getting a yoyo card and I loved killing elder willows for trunks to make my sakkat hat. I worked so hard for it. My main character was a crit knight with a muramasa I spent my life on

@@latibro21You should try out the upcoming private server on jan 6th. It's called Mythos of Midgard, a remake of server called Asgard Legend which was shut down by gravity like a year or two ago.
There's like a 1000+ people waiting for the server to come out since last year, hopefully it will live up to our expectations :)

It is almost 2 decades ago when RO was released. Nothing beats this game. RO will always be part of my beautiful childhood memories. To be honest I never reached a second job class back then as game is too expensive to play. We only used to play in internet cafe and do top ups in order to play the game. Nevertheless, as student I always find ways to save and enjoy the game. ROK On forever😢

i'm an old player since 2003 and i used a Hunter with 99 agility and 99 dexterity and deals 1000 damage per attack. Why is the assassin's damage so weak? I never used an assassin.
eh yeah assassin is weaker that's why sinx is an absolute upgrade.

nostalgic, nothing beats the old RO, when Chaos then Loki were the only server in PH. when pure agi crit assassin is amazing, priest+wiz in H.Orc or Annolians = exp boost. 😊

I remember my Agi crit type Knight with +9 muramasa and became a Lord Knight when transcedent were available. My +9Muramasa that was given by our Guild Master. He's so generous.

Why Ragnarok as an old RPG game just feels right even as today standard, the music, gameplay even the mechanic gameplay it just feels right. So many RPG just try too hard as a RPG game, weird mechanic, too many quest and item, p2w and etc.

Nostalgia hits me with this one. Played this game decades ago and last server I played was kinda fun specially on WoE. Assasin tho are so OP on that server specially when using EDP and 1 hit enemies using soulbreaker

As an opinion: YES. it's very satisfing doing crits and have high aspd, but instead of crit cards on katar and going for % damage cards, mobing and doing grimtooth with the same stats its far more safe and exp/hr efficient. The abysmals for example can kill you suddenly with only 1 brandish spear, similarly in abbys lake, so you would require devotion and permanent healing, wich would reduce exp. Juperos grimtooth with formless card is a great option.

How hard is getting Soldier Skeleton Card? I want to critical ass. but mine at level 92 is still 17 at natural crit lol feel so underpowered. Oh and Desert Wolf is lvl 102 at my server :(

Miss this gold old raganarok all items cards can be obtain by just farming killing moobs and the stat jobs is accurate not in PH they mess it all up monster drops exp skill job stat and forging success rate they were fckin scum and shut the game down 👎

could you please show the cards you are using or slightly more detailed explanation of what youre doing in the future videos? i completely understand it is a lot of work, but im thinking of starting back ragnarok after not playing it i reckon 15 years now now thanks to you. i enjoy your series a lot, it is just harder to understand why the cards, gears, and how to go to the maps from your map choices.
You can search the name of the card in ratemyserver and read the description from there. He already explained enough in this video by the way and yeah that is a lot of work that you are requesting where he already provided it in the video. 😅
He only use Soldier Skeleton card (Crit Raye +9%), which is the most common card for Assassin. But since he's using NPC weapons, the card slots are less compared to weapons from monster drops, which makes it less effective.
Usually, people were using Jur [3] or Katar [2] for hunting, and they embed it with a combination of Soldier Skeleton card, and cards for monster sizes like Minotaur (+15% damage on large monsters), or Skeleton Soldier (+15% damage on medium monsters).
Some people also use elemental Katars when hunting, but you need to have high LUK or Crit Rate first to be very effective, since these Katars normally doesn't have card slots.
For armors, the most cheap one is the Pantie + Undershirt combo, which gives you Flee and AGI, while headgear and footgear is just the standard cap & boots.
For cards, it's usually pretty standard, where you either use the Thief set, or you use these ones (these are the most common cards for PvE Assassins on pre-renewal version):
-) Head: Deviruchi (STR +1, immune to Blind), or Nightmare (AGI +1, immune to Sleep)
-) Armor: Pupa (HP +700) or Peco Peco (+10% Max HP)
-) Garment: Whisper (+20 Flee, increase damage taken from Ghost property attack)
-) Boots: Matyr (AGI +1, Max HP +10%)
-) Accessories: Either Mantis (+3 STR), Kobold (Crit Rate +4%, STR +1), or Yoyo (AGI +1, Perfect Dodge +5)

@@lswsrya49 Well, you prolly spends it on better slotted equipments, and also multiple weapons with high refinements.
But TBH, Assassin doesn't need that much of investments for PvE outside its weapons, unless you want to participate in PvP/War of Emperium, in which you need a whole different set of equipments that focuses on survivability (e.g HP cards, damage reduction cards, and cards that makes you immune to some status effects), and you also need Infiltrator [1] + Hydra card for the weapon, in which all of them will costs you quite a fortune.

If you have another character you can loot Mummy card for extra hit, put it in some dagger and try 1 DEX build.

i remember i was doing a crit sin build wayyyy back and then as soon as i hit 99, they released ice pick and they took over every build and i was bummed.

classic build is - 3 crit jur, ghost band/ bunny band, romatic leaf, 2 cobold clip
