The Deathclaw in Boneyard in Fallout 1 was crazy scary back then. Great work here.

Nice paint job. Nice to see the deathclaw wants a hug and everything from the wasteland survivors. Reminds me I have the Nuka Cola Girl to paint at some point.

Ooh, now she's cool. That'd be one I'd use a fair chunk of Contrast on for her uniform, I think.

@@SonicSledgehammerStudio yeah, I’m thinking the same. Will have to find a nice off white to work with first though. Probably not a GW colour since Mine keep getting these weird bits in them.

Meeting that first death claw in FO3, good times. Wish I hadn't skipped 1+2+Tactics as a kid. The paint job looks plain until you see the underside and it contrasts beautifully.

You can pick up the original Fallout series over on GOG, since they're tweaked to run a little more smoothly on modern systems. Takes me back a long, looong way!

Thanks for this, I am slowly improving in my painting but this video helped me to paint my Deathclaw to a much better level. I didn't go with all of the colour choices you did but I don't have all of the paints you do and also I kinda went my own way. Again, thanks for this guide

One of my favourite killing machines in fiction!
You are right in fallout 2 theirs a deathclaw companion who you meet in a robe. When a fight breaks out he rips the robe off. Quite a cool character.
So does this mean some videos on fallout and fallout proxies?

Thank you kindly, Ian. I'm glad to hear it comes through that I'm actually really enjoying myself! 😂 Painting monsters and other stuff like this is always really relaxing to me; there's no strict patterns, just shoving your brush wherever you think will look good, and if it doesn't? Well, it just makes the whole thing look more natural.
