You got the Clake wrong in how it works, I don't have one but after watching his video it seems to be the best system. I think you need to re-look at it and I'm considering one.
Great set up with the recluse .... TY for the set up idea I'm going to put your set up on my 300 gas gas ... I even have some old bark buster mounts to use .. right on my man you just helped me be a better me ... Cheers!!
Mike I have a handicap in my right foot and I had the rekluse hand brake and clutch system on my RM 250. I just got a TE300 a cpl days ago and have to set it up the same, but the hydraulic clutch and brake conflict as you know. My question is, I see how you secured the bark buster mounts to your handlebar. In the vid I couldnt see how you secured the section of bar to the underside of the bark buster mounts?
Do u highly recommend or must have the rekluse auto clutch to use with the lhrb? Have u tried only adding the rekluse lhrb without auto clutch and any good?
First need to say a big THANK YOU for your videos, great stuff! That being said from reading the reviews down below it looks like you need to give Clake a second chance and do an updated review, unless you did not have not seen it?
Mike, can you explain how you did the mount for the LHB? I see that 2 barkbuster mounts, but what holds the piece of tube at the front end? Or how did you attach to the handlebar? I'd like to the the same thing. Thanks
Thanks for that mate, i myself am a paraplegic (incomplete) ex pro motocross racer, i need a rear brake setup on the bars, and im really set on the Rekluse, you answered some Q's i had. Funny enough ive also emailed Clive (from memory) at Clake twice, for my MX and street stunt bikes, and never even received a reply, what i think was pretty shithouse. Going by your feeling on it, karma. Thanks you have sold me on the rekluse.
Your not kidding, I was like WTF is with your breathing! Funny thing is that he is in good physical shape and fairly normal person, must be a camera thing... Sorry
Hi Mike, I put a CLAKE on my Gas Gas, it took me 2 hours and I wasnt speeding, BTW you are totally wrong in how the CLAKE works, it is clutch on the first part of the pull and brake on the next part with a smooth transition between the two. obviously you didnt ride the bike at all or you would have it right, Clicking the lever in disengages your clutch AND brake so you can wheel the bike forward or backwards, releasing the lever automatically resets. You should get your facts right!!!
That’s a shame . The Clake is by far the better system. Has the most adjustments of all so you can custom fit it to your style of riding . If you pull the lever in half way that activates the clutch and full is clutch and brake . Do your research. It helps . 😃
hi mike, you know you only snap the Clake Pro lever in if you want just clutch? In the video you showed you have to snap in sideways for the clutch first, thats incorrect, you just need to pull the lever a tiny amount for full clutch then in further for the brake. Did you get sent the different cams?
Did you actually call it a steering 'dampener' ?? You do know Clake have other levers which may have been a better choice... And from what I understand, you could actually have changed how that Pro lever you have does what (reverse the lever click action)... by changing the masters...
What's up with the camera guy's breathing? I hope he didn't have a heart attack later that day? I mean he walks three feet and begins breathing heavy hahaha Excellent video and very informative but the breathing is annoying as hell!!!
Mike: Don't know how to do it but after all the feedback this video needs to come down. As others have pointed out you are passing misinformation on the Clake. The rest is good but take it down or update it.
You do not know how the Clake can work in various ways depending on how it is set up and where and how much you pull in the level toget clutch and or brake.....as a result you explained it all wrong
Dude delete the part about the Clake because like everyone has said it is completely wrong, and for people trying to look at reviews and learn about the product it is misleading them.
If i did something wrong with the Clake, i apologize. This Clake unit is 5 or more years old, maybe its a different unit then todays units, if not and i did something wrong, then i apologize to Clake.

Camera dude's breathing, man. Christ.
You should do an update as you got the clake function all wrong. It shows that you didn't ride it.
Check out the "Clake two" clutch + brake, its awesome.
you should of got the clake 2 that's exactly what you wanted! it might not of been out then though. cheers.
You are refreshingly intelligent and dispassionate presenter.

At 1:50, the little adapter on top of the rear reservoir that allows you to attach the extra brake line with a banjo. where can I get that ? thanks
The short section of bar that you mounted the brake that you can adjust the position that is.
You have the clake backwards. perhaps you reversed hydraulic lines. you should be able to pull the lever for clutch operation then further for brake.
Holy Mouth Breathing! Creepy.

Seriously cool, and technical set ups. Good luck in with the Iron Giant.

You could not be more wrong about the Clake. Did you actually use it?

Can't see why nobody mounts the rear brake lever on the right side!
