Those who don't know what we are talking about should search UA-cam for El Rayo-X and David Lindley "Quarter of a Man" from the Reggae at The River concert.
The "glitter" you allude to is actually aluminum filings/shavings from manufacturing the nut and "roller skate key" tuners, in an effort to not waste any of the resources and make it as cheaply as possible - seriously.
Hello Mike, I just subscribed after seeing your Goodwill strat refurb! Great work man. Since I’m also a 65’ I had to watch! You MUST try Renaissance Wax…..It will probably be ok for future periodic maintenance of the glitter! Be well, Shawn
I'm excited to see this project and restoration!
instant David Lindley.....!

Maybe make a headless version of the Silvertone and case with modern electronics to compliment your awesome find. The Silvertone 2022 project?
Yeah, I think I can really take that 60's retro-future design and modernize it. Good idea!
Awesome project!
Glad you like it!

Wow, that's striking! I wonder if others will be thinking what I'm thinking - string break angle much!?
Love the '50s car/diner styling.
Oh yeah. Those break angles are cartoonish. Looks unique, though.
I own all 5 amp-in-case guitars. You can date them from the neck stamp (easy to Google how to decipher it).

Thanks for the sub. The 1965 tube restoration vid is almost done!
Amps can be dangerous electrocution hazards, as they are not properly grounded and need an isolation transformer.
Are you checking out a vintage DanElecro guitar, or calling a golf tournament? Why are you whispering?
Love your video's, but you need to calm down a little and learn to use your indoor voice! HA!!!
