My 1st husband and I lived in Walvis Bay from April to November in 1969...it was still rather primitive then...but it's looking absolutely wonderful now...
Unbelievable, its nearly 43 years since my 1st husband and I arrived to Walvis Bay.And our daugther was born there, shes 43 years old now,and I was 23 when we came there! It was a real dream in my big lifestory !
I left Walvis Bay 46 years ago! Can't believe it has changed so much! We use to stay in the "Army Camp" in 7th Street! I can't find it on the maps! Maybe they "destroyed" our houses! They were standing on poles! Sink houses!!!!!
