I heard this song at a department store* in 2014. Every second the music entered my ear, my interest heightened. Sadly, I was in the last few seconds of the song. I grabbed my phone and recorded only 19 seconds of it hoping I could get the lyrics and search it for later. I listened to the recorded audio and could barely hear the lyrics because of the noise inside the store. I asked the customer service where I could ask for the title of the song that was previously played. They told me the operator was in a restricted area. After that, I just felt like my life was over (of course, I'm exaggerating). It was only after a year later in 2015 that I finally found it! I can't really recall how, but it was a huge relief. It's still my favorite song until now. I feel like the luckiest person.

Agreed, it has the metronomic sound of Velvet Underground and the melodic sense of The Beatles. Stone cold perfect. See also "Audrey's Curtains" by The Days and anything by East Village and the sole EP by Days titled "Downhill".
This song could have easily been extended to ten minutes and I still would have loved every second of it.

The movie starts out with this song, you hear it fade in as a tall mountain filled with trees is seen, the camera is moving following a car down a narrow road along the edge of the mountain, it gets closer till it’s cuts into the car, where you see a group of friends fooling around laughing and passing around snacks. I hope someone takes this idea and makes it into a cinematic masterpiece using all this bands music

Even though I'm an older Boomer whose tastes used to be progressive rock, some of Dylan and even a little acid rock, I like groups like this, the Eels and the Tallest Man on Earth. The songs are very good with excellent harmonies.

I love this song, but I feel a lot of different things about it. I talked to a girl in November-December 2023 who was almost perfect for me. We spent a lot of time together and studied for all of our exams together. In uni, we were pretty much unbeatable. It looked like we were starting to feel something for each other as we became more interested in each other. And in fact, I fell head over heels in love with her. Nothing seemed impossible when I was with her. I had not been this happy in a long time. She met me in the strangest and darkest period of my life. Later, when we went on vacation, it all went down... Despite the fact that we texted every day, the distance hurt our relationship a lot. And for the New Year, I chose to tell her how I feel about her, and everything I feel for her... I really do not know whether to feel bad about what happened or grateful that it did, but she said "no". Because I was used to having her in my life at this point, I really hoped that we would at least stay friends. So imagine my shock when I saw her with someone else... I am still not sure if she should have put on this whole show about what is important to her, like what is going on with us or how much she values our relationship... She not only left me when I needed her the most, but she also chose to be with someone else instead.
This song evokes a lot of emotions... Almost 5 months have passed since that moment, and I am still in pain... The worst part is that they seem to be moving on too quickly, as if they never cared about you... This song might have been a sign...

Saw them play at Maxwell's in Hoboken bout 4 years ago couple months before Days came out. They stood in the crowd with everyone watchin the openers with everyone else it was rad. Since then they've gained a shit ton of fans its pretty cool to see
