I already have and it’s so small and cosy but amazing with the 2 cylinders in the main bit inside and u can see it and all the linkage makes it even better
This must be the only paddlesteamer in the UK with a bow thruster! This miniature appearance of this boat is similar to the "Wee Spark" replica puffer on the Forth & Clyde canal.
Ironic that a paddle steamer named Monarch is working in this part of Dorset. As a kid in the 60s when my grandmother lived in Swanage, we'd go on paddle steamers operated by Cozens at Weymouth that included one named Monarch that ran back and forth between Swanage and Bournemouth and occasionally, to the Isle of Wight
At first I thought this was going to be a replica of the 1833 PS Monarch, but I was even more delighted to see that this was a modern steamer in actual service! I have wanted to built some new steamers of my own (when I'm old enough) because I just love them!
Can I get the blueprints for this steamer? I would like to build one in the US. I don't know what the fuel is but I would like to burn old engine oil. It is easy to get.
Beautiful paddle-steamer.
And to think it's this new!, the people that built it.. hats off to you!

A truly beautiful paddle steamer! I wish to sail aboard one one day.
Loved the bow thruster - made me think of a Sopwith Camel with an ejector seat....!
or the red baron with an IRIS-T pod slung underneath
Beautiful

At 3:51 to 4:03 it looks as something is going to break. If it’s not failing it looks worn
