Very nice color scheme! I currently own a rear living room fifth wheel, so I can appreciate that it's the most popular floor plan. A lot of great features like the suspension (although 8K axles would be nice), tire pressure monitoring, front rack & pinion slide out, and the 2nd set of LED rear taillights mounted up higher. Here are a few things I would have done differently. Fireplace should be the same width as the TV, add a window above the stove, relocate the bathroom heat vent, swap out the pin box with a shock dampening (Morryde or Rotor Flex), and replace the dinette with the "multi-functional" version that competitors like Alliance are using in their new units.
Finally, a manufacturer understands that quality starts from the frame up. For a relatively shorter 5th wheel, seeing those capacity numbers and large frame gives my hope there is a manufacture that understands the importance of building in extra capacity in the frame , superstructure and running gear for todays and roads and how RV'ers actually use their trailers.
The bathroom heating vent is right in front of the shower. I can see kids dripping water into the vent after showering. I would recommend that the company re think the location of the vent!
A few things really stand out to me. I love the wooden valances. They are 100% better than fabric. I hate that calendar thing on the wall. Why would they do that? Branding inside the RV is a major strike when I'm looking at a unit (and I AM shopping for a new RV this year). I've seen a lot of '25 models with that built in chopping block with a hole in the middle, and it's awful. It's too short, and that hole is right smack dab in the way. I would never use it and would be annoyed that the space was taken up by something so useless.
This floor plan is great for just a couple to use but nobody else cause there is not any storage for anyone else to put their luggage/ bags. I would rather have Grey tones instead of the brown tones. I don't like the fact that the bathroom door is not connected to the Masterbedroom. I don't like that type of sink in the bathroom either. They need more room on each side of that king size bed. They need to make that slide a little bit wider. Who wants to be squeezed up in that little space? Give me some space for a big night stand with some big drawers in it on both sides of the bed & have reading lights above on both sides, & have outlets/USB outlets on both sides of the bed too. A girl needs more closet space. I DON'T WANT NO WASHER/ DRYER IN THE MASTERBEDROOM!! WHO WANTS TO BE WASHING CLOTHES & TRYING TO SLEEP IN THE SAME ROOM? NOT ME!! PUT THE WASHER/DRYER IN THE KITCHEN AREA AWAY FROM THE MASTERBEDROOM. OR IN A SECOND BATHROOM WHICH I WOULDN'T HAVE AN RV WITHOUT AT LEAST A BATH AND A ½. EVEN WITH IT JUST BEING ME & MY HUSBAND BECAUSE EVERY SINGLE TIME THAT I HAVE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM HE'S IN THERE! THAT IS A MUST FOR US! 2 BATHROOMS! I WISH THAT THEY WOULD LET ME DESIGN RV'S. BECAUSE WHOEVER DESIGNS THESE RV'S DON'T THINK ABOUT THE MORE ROOM YOU HAVE TO SLEEP PEOPLE, THE MORE FULL BATHROOMS & STORAGE IN THERE YOU NEED TOO. YOU NEED STORAGE IF THEY ARE SLEEPING IN THE COUCH OR TABLE OR A LOFT AREA THEY ALL NEED STORAGE FOR THEIR LUGGAGE/ BAGS TOO. I THINK THAT I COULD REALLY DESIGN SOME GREAT RV'S. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO START DESIGNING RV'S?
I would prefer a queen bed with the side tables next to the bed, not shelving above the bed, doesnt look like there's much room on either side of the bed.
Don't like the vessel sink in the bathroom. Don't like the dark wood tone inside the cabinets. It would be nice to have white in the cabinets to brighten it up. Otherwise I like it it
My 2007 Forest River Wildcat had hydraulic slides (2). And hydraulic landing gear. It was hidden under a false floor under the bed so you couldn't see it.
@@elimoto I just sold it in March and we were all over from Maine to FL, to TN and never had a problem with any of the slide Hydraulics or mechanics. I had one hose for the landing gear that would weep a little oil so it looked wet but didn't drip so I never replaced it. But alot of people on the Forest River forum complained about the hoses leaking, specifically the orange hoses. They may use different hose now so I wouldn't worry about it.
Oh and to add, the end of last year I replaced the electric solenoid that operates the hydraulic motor because on occasion it would click but not work. Other than that no major issues at all with the hydraulic system.
Beautiful fifth wheel. Multi-colored wood is trendy or maybe stylish today but would be something that would be outdated soon. We just purchased a new fifth wheel with a similar floor plan. We looked at some with similar interiors and decided it was not for us.
The floor plan in nice but would never buy it. The bath sink. Is the major thing. The glass in the kitchen, and the controller in the open where kids or others can play with them.
If one is being real..... these 5th wheel designs are NOT innovative at all.... Same trash year in year out.... JD is a paid spokesman.... Take what he says with a grain of salt! ~
The standard RL floorplan.. traditional... I'd wager the reason its the "most popular" is because EVERY. MANUFACTURER. makes 4 to 6 variations of this exact floorplan. We hate it. Not an island fan at all. We LOVE our wide body rear kitchen. What I think would be cool JD, is if you could get production numbers of these floorplans.. I'd be interested in seeing how many more of these they make than other floorplans.
Like the floor plan, but would prefer a queen bed with bed-height side tables instead of over-window shelves.
It's really nice and could be perfect if it had regular night stands abd adjustable shelves for the pantry.
Nice review but as always....what is the length and width? How are those not important numbers?
The bed kills it for me. Imaging trying to make that bed every morning.
I'm not a Cedar Creeks fan but this one is changing how I view them I really like it.
I love the Cedar Creeks. So much so I bought one. My 22 has been fantastic.

It's beautiful
Looks nice, but what is the MSRP?

I love this one.
Too different sized opposing windows in the rear ?
Queen with nightstands option ?
I like it. Very Brinkley-esque, isn't it?
Agree very Brinkley looking

Nice Tones!
Like it…..thank you!

JD, love it any chances you could review their new unit 31Rd?
How much room is allowed for washer and dryer and is it designed only for stackable washer and dryer ? What is price range on rv ?

HOW MUCH IS IT..... I HAVE AN F350 4X4 3/4 TON WOULD IT PULL THIS SAFELY
Huh? An F350 has always been considered a one ton pickup.
I really wish they would do like wood rather than two town. The darker wood seems old style.
I would prefer a queen bed with the side tables next to the bed, not shelving above the bed, doesnt look like there's much room on either side of the bed.
Agreed.

No use for ottoman. Queen instead of king
Not sure I understand the purpose/fascination with soft close doors/drawers.
Was that a hydraulic ram under the king bed? If so, have you seen that before? I have never seen a hydraulic slide.
My 2007 Forest River Wildcat had hydraulic slides (2). And hydraulic landing gear. It was hidden under a false floor under the bed so you couldn't see it.
@@Itsa_Mea Did the slides work ok during your ownership of it? Was it reliable? I'm just interested since I haven't seen that before.

Vents in floor a huge minus. I like the rest of it though.
functional layout, but too much colors used in interior, break up the space to too many small chunks.
The floor plan in nice but would never buy it. The bath sink. Is the major thing. The glass in the kitchen, and the controller in the open where kids or others can play with them.
Lacking kitchen prep space...too broken up. A kitchen sink needs space on both sides...a peninsula would have solved the problem.
