Weather is great at the moment hopefully it will be a bit drier when we get up in July hopefully with another epic bike ride 👍👍

Thanks for the excellent video, Gonna have to give some of these a try sometime, they look brilliant Incidentally I had a clicking (more like a cluncking) that could be felt through the crank. It was only when under light load with right crank coming back up to the top. Trek Rail 5 and started after only 50mls from new, Bike shop that I purchased from replaced the motor under warranty and has been fine ever since.
Got to say trek warranty is very good. Thanks for the comments on the rides . Yes give the routes ago! My next ride is the chop gate route North Yorkshire moors which, I’m told , has some of the best descents on the moors. 👍😊. Fingers crossed I get down them ok…… by the way a while ago you asked if I posted the routes I have a Garmin now and all my routes are on Strava so you can get the gpx. Absolutely epic video pal, your very lucky to live in such a glorious place with all that literally on your doorstep, the trails look awesome and will be even more of a blast when they dry out, and of course I'm well jealous that your within spitting distance of Roseberry Topping, it's one of those places I absolutely love, it was my favourite photography destination and me and my Wife travelled from Sheffield quite a few times, we used to spend all day walking around and then the last few hours of the daylight taking photos of it in the afternoon light from the old quarry looking onto Gribdale cottages, stunning place🥰

Your welcome mate, they were some of my best photos right up to the point where my old iMac decided to crash and burn almost literally and all my photos were lost, I saw almost two years of work lost, I was devastated, fortunately all my family photos were on an external hard drive, I was going out to get another one that day and put all my photos on it, oh well I learned a lesson not to be repeated, all my photos are on another hard drive now, not on my iMac 👍

Yep, around 3000 shots all edited in Photoshop and ready to sell or publish, many hours of work, it was enough to make me give up photography, now I’ve got mountain biking I’m not worried about it any more, no need dwelling on something that’s in the past 😭😭😭😭😭😜😜
@9.28 how did you get over the fence?
Lifted the bike over and went through the gate. It was a gate further down than 9:28 right at the end of that trail.

I go to Peddlers in Redcar, that’s where I got the bike from. 👊🏻.
So what was the cause of the noise
@@hairyhomerify hi mate. It was the head set. Apparently it’s common from the factory trek don’t put enough grease on the head set bearings 😞. So the LBS greased it up and problem solved.
@@EMTBnorthyorkshiredad I asked as my cube is making similar ticking noise when pedaling I know it’s not motor or drive train as it stops if I stand and pedal
@@hairyhomerify have you checked the seatpost? The reason I say that is you mention when you stand up and pedal it stops. I also had a creaking noise caused by a dirt and grime around the dropper post coller. Undo the coller and clean around it and spray a bit lube around it.
