"War is coming," she said laying on the couch where he placed her to rest covered it a blanket to secure her injuries from any contact. She could feel her injuries stinging with every move she makes as the blanket's fabric brushes against them, she hissed. "War is already here," he replied carrying a first aid kit with him as he walked towards her.
No one would find them in his lair, his lair that was isolated from the world. Here she would be safe, here she could rest from the flaming violence back at the city. But even so, she felt guilty, her fellow heroes are out there fighting for their life and her, who was supposed to be leading them went down so suddenly. She thought and she went deeper, she dove down in her thoughts eating it all up, not hearing her beloved's words when was tending to her wounds.
"I'll take your top off so I can inspect your injuries at your back, are you okay with doing it now?" He asked but got no reply. He moved to look at her and saw her eyes, his dear heroine's eyes lost in thought. "(Name), are you alright? Did I do something my love?" He asked again.
The next thing he knew, tears started to well up in her face. "Why did I go down that fast?" She asked herself sobbing and becoming more vulnerable in front of him. Here he didn't see the heroine who would fight him as he was causing trouble within the city. He didn't see the heroine loved by the city, the woman booming with pride. Instead, he saw the quiet and gentle woman that he met all those years ago.
She cried burying her hands in her face trying to cover the shame. Even though they were completely opposites her, a hero and him, a villain.
They were each other's safe haven. To have the cry to the other was a big deal to them. Anger fueled inside him, sure he was a part of the Villain's Corp but he was only interested for the money and kills. Not war. He'd have to remind himself to have a word with his fellow villain that did this to HIS beloved.
But alas, blood spilled can wait. His beloved needs him. "I'll take your top off now, hold still," he tells her but she only let out a whimper.
Dabbing the cotton filled medicine on her wounds that were drawn on her back, she hissed and cried from the pain. She curled up and gripped the blanket trying to fight it as if it was her way of fighting against her thoughts. "Shhh it's okay, it's okay, you're okay, I'm here," he whispered sweet nothings to her all while tending to her wounds kissing her on the side of her head, lips traveling to her cheek and neck. "I'm a failure," she cried "You were ambushed" he said.
"I left them"
" I took you away, I'll bring you back once you're better, then we can fight"
"They will go rogue once they find out about us"
"Then I'll hides us away from them, to a faraway land where you and I will be at peace"
"The people"
"You can still do your job from the shadows, you're good at that"
"My family"
"I've sent a few of my henchmen to check on them, they're safe"
As they talked, her breath settled down. With her wounds now patched up she looked at her beloved this time. "How did I love a villain?" She let out a small chuckle. "You just did, and even if you tried you just couldn't resist me" he said, a smug look now painted in his face.
"Can I be better for you?" She asked again, now cupping his cheek on her bandages hand. "Love me more," he replied leaning into her touch.
"But I already do"
"Then it's already perfect"
In the midst of a war between heroes and villains, a strong known, beloved, prideful hero and a cunning, smart, mysterious villain out for blood, kissed.

It was Alhaitham you are facing. Although he failed in his attempt to destabilize the Akademiya, he still walks freely and cause numerous problems across Sumeru.
You inhaled deeply before replying, "Hadn't you caused trouble for the guards, I'd be here before you." You slumped across the cold floor as you continued to catch your breath.
You knew well that meeting him is wrong, and you can be charged with conspiring with a traitor. However, there's something in him that you find... so irresistible.
He threw the knife away and walked towards you. He lowered himself to the ground and forcefully grabbed your chin, "Come now, my darling, following my suggestion would make things easier for you."
You scoffed and were about to retort when he speaks again.
"End this futile resistance, traveler." His eyes reflected the desire for control. His face drew closer to yours.

You answered the call only to hear complete silence on the other end. After a couple moments of silence, you heard someone suddenly chuckle. It wasn't calm nor friendly, it was deep sinister chuckle. You immediately recognized who it was as your body starts to tense up.

Haitham chuckled once more before speaking.

Haitham continued to kiss your neck but this time he was biting too. You left out a soft moan of pleasure. You wanted him to stop but you didn't want him to.

He shall hail from the Land of Verdure, enrobed in limitless opportunity. From beyond the Wall of Samiel, He shall be born into great wealth and possess wisdom to eclipse that of both Rukkhadevata, and her successor, Kusanali. He shall glimpse divinity, see the truth of His past, and regain all memory of His former existence as our King. In this form, King Deshret shall return on the twelfth night of the month of the Ethereal Moon, led by the light of the Evening Star, Dinéta. What absolute fools they are-” He begrudgingly hands you the agreed amount of payment for this commission and tells you to vacate his office immediately since he has ‘pressing architectural matters’ to attend to. “Hopefully our next collaboration will yield actual historical rhetoric instead of these asinine fables.”
You say nothing as you leave, walking out of the Akedimiya’s central hall out into the light of dusk. After all, you know better than most… that this prophecy, at least the first half of it, has already seemed to come true. You saw it yourself, even though you didn’t quite recognize it at the time. Dehya, Cyno, and the others did say Alhaitham seemed even more distant and cold than usual, even for being at a party in celebration of the rescuing of Lesser Lord Kusanali. Paimon remained oblivious, as usual. Something about him changed at that party… no, that wasn’t quite correct either. Something changed in his mind when he connected to the Divine Knowledge Capsule. He must have seen something unspeakably evil… or did he actually glimpse divinity as stated in the prophecy? You swore you could hear Alhaitham talking to himself, whispering to people who weren’t there in an old Arabic tongue, and it was just yesterday you decided to sneak a glance at that book you’d always see him reading. You wish for the love of everything good in the world that you hadn’t done that. Each page was covered in his obsessive writing over and over forming infinite spirals and concerning images of hellish scenes in the desert from that one sentence that could never exit your memory.

Against your better judgement, you still decided to keep your word. After all, you and he did plan this date to be on the twelfth of this month. You pause a moment. The twelfth night… Looking up, you could just barely see the bright planet Venus coming into view as the dusky sky went from warm orange to an almost artificial pink. The Evening Star was said to be its most luminous tonight. You arrive at Alhaitham’s home, letting yourself in with the spare key you suspect he swindled off of his roommate. He seemed to be packing bags full of water and food, but immediately took notice of your arrival.
“It’s good to see you, Y/N. Please, have a seat.” Alhaitham formally gestures to one of the chairs at the dining table. Out of the corner of your eye, you can just faintly see more scribbles of his manic writing covering the hallway leading to his room.
_“So…”_ you try to mask the fear in your voice. “Where would you like to go out?” You feel something cold and smooth near your foot under the table. Glancing beneath the tablecloth, you see traces of what appears to be dry blood on the hardwood floor and what looks like a golden ring attached to an ankle brace. Your mind begins to recoil in abject horror realizing that it looks _just like_ the one Cyno would wear-
“I hear there’s a wonderful spot near Sobek Oasis for stargazing.” Alhaitham sits down right next to you, preoccupied with pouring tea into a glass for you. Using this opportunity, you instantly sit upright and look away from the disturbing find near your foot. “For you.”
“Ah, how romantic!” You gracefully accept his tea, feigning calmness. “I didn’t know you were into stargazing. You should have told me, I can access a lot of good spots using the Waypoints.” Taking a sip you can’t help but feel something is wrong about this whole thing.
Terribly, horribly wrong.
“I actually wanted to speak with you about that. You’ve read the prophecy, I assume?”
“Prophecy? _What prophecy?_ I don’t-”
*“Do not lie to me, Y/N.”* His voice becomes ominous and authoritative. You sit there, frozen with terror. Frozen with the realization that this man has become something you no longer recognize.
“I would never lie to you, Alhaitham-”
_“Alhaitham?”_ He looks quizzically at you, and it suddenly connects in your mind that you were never speaking with the Akedimiya Scribe. You were speaking to someone else...Oh, Archons… you can feel your blood freeze, and the terror grip your bones so bad you nearly collapse. “I know not this name. *I am King.”*

He chuckles and tightens his grip on your chin, pushing your head to the side and moving closer until his head is next to yours. "We both know that can be changed if I so much as snap my fingers, you're still the same pup that let me muzzle you only last week." He grins victoriously as he feels you shiver slightly.
"Now, kneel." His smirk widens as you drop to your knees, head bowed. "There's my good pup, obedient as ever." He leans down and tilts your head up again, making you squirm slightly as his eyes and words alone hold you in place. "Now, pet, are you *sure* you won't come crawling back to me?" He takes a few steps back, sitting in what can only be called in a throne as he pats his thigh expectantly. There's nothing stopping you from standing up and leaving, no guards, the doors aren't even locked...
"Good pup." The teasing voice coos in your ear as you lean into the familiar warmth of your worst enemy's chest, taking a few shaky breaths as the junction between your shoulder and neck is painted deep maroon and purple that you know will be tender and hard to hide the next morning. “Where have you been?” A deep voice demands. You smirk, the heavy doors shutting with a resounding boom behind you. You pause, enjoying his anticipation, then respond “oh, nowhere in particular..”
He slams you against a wall. “LIAR!”
You tsk, “temper temper~”
“I sent men to find you-WHERE WERE YOU-“
“Why do you want to know? “ You tease. He takes a step back and looks at you in shock. “….what happened to you?” You chuckle. “Do you really want to know?”

“Then beg.” He freezes. “What?”
“You heard me.” You step forward, pressing into his chest. “Beg.”

You smile, satisfied. “I went to my sister’s to get some things, wanna see?” Before he can answer, you use your new found power to lift him into the air with a flick of your hand. “Do you like my sister’s gift?”
“What- what is this?”
“It’s magic darling.” Off his look you explain. “What? You didn’t really think you were the only one with cards up your sleeve, did you~?” You purr. He shudders in your grasp and you smirk. You’re very careful as you place him in his throne, not that he needs to know that. He tries to stand, you put pressure on him and he gasps in surprise. You laugh loudly now, eyes gleaming in the darkness. You pace, stalking him. Then with a laugh you head towards him. His eyes are wide with shock as you strut towards him and place your self on his lap. One leg over each armrest on his chair, you straddle him and lean in. “What’s wrong darling? Never thought your pup would mark you back?”
“Mark me? You haven’t-“ You sink you teeth into his neck. He shouts, then moans and trembles as you lick it. You grab his chin, forcing him to look up at you. “Now you’re ” you growl.
But like imagine:

“Here you are again,” the scribe mused. “You just can’t resist, can you?”
The scribe sat with his legs spread, arms resting on either thigh. His silver hair covered one of his eyes, the visible one narrow, daunting. The corners of his mouth were pulled up into a sadistic smile.
Here sat one of Sumeru’s greatest traitors, secretly working to destroy everything from the inside, until he got caught at the wrong place and wrong time. Renowned for his witty and arrogant nature, to say he’s a force to be reckoned with would be an understatement.
“Come here, my obedient little pet,” he spoke, motioning with a finger to draw you closer, closer. _What a condescending nickname. Why must he be so good at rubbing you in all the sinfully right and wrong ways?_
You couldn’t deny him. Perhaps it was fear, knowing he’d discard you without a second though should you rub him the wrong way, or submission, how his dominant aura could bring you to your knees in a matter of seconds. Or maybe it was lust, unable to resist the desire pooling in your stomach as the scholar beckoned you closer.
“Good,” he cooed. “Sit down, dear,” he patted his thigh. You sat without a second thought. His hand rested on your hip, drawing careful circles.
“Let’s get started then, shall we?” he chuckled, before lowering his head to your neck.
Just like every other night, his lips trailed all across your smooth flesh. It was a routine at this point, he made it apparent that he loved when you squirmed beneath him. Ever the tease, his hand slowly crawled closer and closer to where you needed him most, stopping just short of the ache in between your legs. A pathetic whine left your throat.
“Patience,” the scholar hissed, eyes flickering to your face before returning to giving your neck attention.
“Please,” you whispered. You couldn’t do this tonight. Little did the scribe know you’d been thinking about this _all day,_ longing for his touch, longing to feel him _all over you,_ yearning to be _his._ Curse the sun for setting so late, deliberately prolonging your agonizing wait.
“How needy,” he muttered. “Very well. I can hardly wait to have you as a mess in my hands anyway.”
His lips abruptly connected with yours, his nails digging into your skin. A whine escaped your mouth at the sensation. Your hands roamed his body, his toned arms, his chest, neck, but you decided to entwine them in his hair, desperate for him to be closer.
The need for air pulled you both apart, and it was evident in his eyes that he would be taking much, much more than that.
You had no complaints.
“Al Haitham, please,” you begged once more.
“Don’t worry, pet,” he teased. “I’ll give you everything you want and more.”
That night’s events would certainly be ones to remember.

You look down on the man, and let the vines fall to the ground. “Alhaitham…” you mutter. The Scribe of the Akademiya. Interesting, how the Akademiya was both the protagonist and antagonist. “Guards! Summon Scribe Alhaitham at once.” You order. “Yes, General Mahamatra Y/N!” The guards yell.
“I see. So that’s what this man told you?”
You sat across the tall Scribe after you had summoned him. But… he seemed neither nervous nor anxious. He was far too nonchalant for your liking. You wanted to watch him squirm. “I’m the one asking questions here, Haitham. Are you the leader of this organization?”
Alhaitham’s lips curled into a grin at your attempts of being more frightening than he was. “And if I were, what would you do about it, General Mahamatra?” You shifted uncomfortably in your chair, hoping Alhaitham wouldn’t notice. But nothing escaped his viridian eyes. He saw this as a window of opportunity to take control of the conversation. He stood from his chair and walked over to yours. He bent over and put his hand on your exposed shoulder and whispered in your ear, “If you want to know my intentions, meet me in front of the Sanctuary of Surasthana at midnight.” And with that, he left you, empty-handed and red with embarrassment.
“So, you actually came.”
You weren’t sure why you decided to come, whether it was the fact that you wanted to settle the score, or because you missed the deep baritone voice of his. You shook off the thoughts like a wet puppy, and turned back to the task at hand. “As General Mahamatra, it’s my job to serve justice.” You deadpan. “Now, you were going to tell me something. Now is the time, don’t you think?” Alhaitham slowly walked towards you, in a deadly but easygoing manner. “Be patient, General. It’s already the climax of the story, might as well savour it while we can.” (Note: I really made Alhaitham break the 4th wall)
You huff impatiently and ask, “Why did you make this organization?” Alhaitham smiled, as if he had been waiting for you to ask the question, and perhaps he had been. “The current sages are just puppets of former Grand Sage Azar. And what he wants to do…”
“Is to kill Lesser Lord Kusanali.”
Your mouth hangs open in shock. Alhaitham kept explaining all the information he gathered. “There has been a new invention created. Something called a Life Capsule. Almost like a Knowledge Capsule. The Life Capsule…” he droned on and on. But you could already piece things together. They wanted to use Lesser Lord Kusanali’s eternal life span, put it in a capsule, so that when they were to use it themselves, they would also live eternally.
But what if Grand Sage Azar were to use it, and cone back into power? He would most definitely rule the entirety of Sumeru. What’s to say that he won’t use it as his experimental playground? All the leaves of the green forest and the sands of the red desert would be his. You *can’t* let that happen. But something has been itching your brain ever since Alhaitham went on his rant. “Haitham.” You interrupt him. “I’m not done explaining things.” He says in a monotone voice. You ignore his remark and ask him, “How do you know all of this is true?” He rolled his eyes at you. “I’m the Scribe of the Akademiya. I record everything that goes on in meetings. Everything.” He repeats. You throw your hands in the air in sarcasm. “Alright, I heard you the first time.”
Alhaitham slowly looked at you, up and down, eyeing your Dendro vision tied to your collar the most. Abruptly, he asked, “Would you like to join our organization?” You startled, taken aback by his sudden question, for you were deep in thought. “Alright. I don’t want to be a part of *that* anyways.” Alhaitham nodded in agreement. “Then, I’ll see you here every midnight.” He walked away, then stopped and added,

It has been years since I last wrote smth, even less on english. So I won´t check it a lot and just put it here, I was lazy on thinking names lol
As every week, when the sun is slowly setting down, I prepare myself.
Every time that day of the week arrives, I think the same thing: ´This should be the last time´. But as always, it is in vain, my body moves on its own, pushed by my own desires that keep knocking on my dreams every time I go to sleep.
As always, ´he´ is inevitable, irresistible, unattainable. Always close enough for me to get a taste, but never close enough to be satisfied.
After silently going to my room after finishing my duties for the day, a slow glow only seen by my eyes attracts me to the bed. There, inside one of the many pillows, is a small pebble, grey for most eyes, but to those magically inclined, a dark red can be observed from within it.
´He is already there´. I think bitterly, shaking my head when I subconsciously reach out my hand to grab it already. ´I should change first.´
Discarded on the bed is the clothes I usually wear to sleep, so I just quickly change to those, and grab one of the simple dark coats I used to wear when I was younger, and didn´t have to attend court to entertain nobles most of the days.
´Here we go again.´
I grabbed the small pebble in my hands and closed my eyes.
“Well, look who is finally here” an amused deep voice is what I immediately hear after a few seconds of being squeezed down by time and space “You sure take your time”.
“I do have daily duties to attend, as you surely know. I am not like certain someone who spends his time running his little club” I sigh, opening my eyes to the moon luminated space, a small room in the middle of nowhere, cozy enough to be nice, but impersonal in a way that wouldn't leave any clues as to who lives here.
Running a hand through my hair, I look up at the other man in the room. His red, red, oh so red hair shines under the moon glow, a mess as always; it seems like running a criminal organization doesn´t give you time to cut your hair, but he always makes sure to have his best clothes (“I have to look good if I can go down any day. I may as well go with good clothes to meet the devil; I am sure they would appreciate it”). He is getting thinner these weeks, always on move.
“How it is going, J” I ask, coming closer to him, and taking a grab on his chin to be able to look better his face, moving it to the side a little to see better with the little light in the room. It seemed that he hasn´t been sleeping at all, typical.
“Those nicknames again, sweetheart? You know nobody can enter this place, you don´t have to worry about identities and little secrets here” he murmured letting himself be inspected, but watching me intensely in turn, most likely cataloging the bags below my eyes and the bruise that is slowly being formed on my right cheek.
As soon as he caught sight of it, he narrowed his eyes and got out of my hold, to grab my own chin in return, harshly turning my own face to watch the bruise.
“What happened.” He demanded to know, because asking is never his forte, he prefers having control and that leaves to space to niceties.
“Nothing important, just a stupid fight that I had to break out; this is what I got from it obviously” I sighed, thinking about earlier in the morning, when two adults with the mind of a 5 year old kid ended up fighting because of a woman “You know I am not here to be coddled anyway, don´t worry, I resolved it and got them out of the palace fast. The court will want to save some face, seeing as I am always making order, so it will have repercussions for them”
“But what if I want you to coddle you, little prince” he murmured, inching his face close enough I could feel his breath on my lips.
“Don´t call me that” I breathed out, placing my hands on his chest.
“Even if your dear mother won´t acknowledge it, you are a prince, so no can do sweetheart” he smiled, placing his lips softly over mine, but nothing else, just a touch. At the same time he was talking, he started to walk ahead, making me blindly go backwards “Now, should we go to more urgent issues? I have been waiting impatiently to see you again. I have been thinking about your pretty lips too much, your soft and hard body, those eyes that can only focus and me and later on get so prettily unfocused. We have all night, pretty boy, so should we got on it? I can´t wait to ruin you.” He said, giving me a strong push.
“Idiot… I missed you too.” I chuckled, letting myself fall on the bed and looking at this man who is by blood my enemy, a villain on the eyes of every person I know... But well, I guess blood isn’t always that important, even less the opinion of others; it sure isn’t in this small dark room, so far from all our problems and our reality.
So, today, once more, I let myself be consumed by him.

The sky glows as the sun descends, the bright city lights slowly replacing the sun. You let out a deep sigh, glazing out the window watching the sun disappear.
Fuck it, you sigh. You threw the pillow you had on your lap to the side. The cold breeze of the streets consumed you. After only ten minutes, there you were, in front of Alhaitham’s hideout.
As if he knew you were coming, he opened up the door mere seconds before you were about to knock. A smirk wide and clear even cin the dead of night and his lights off.
“Glad you could make it, sweetheart.” he says, grabbing your hand walking backwards as he allows you entrance into his place. “I knew you’d want more.”
“Oh shut up.” you retort, grabbing his collar and pulling him down into a kiss. He backed you up against the wall roughly.
Who cares if the Akademiya was against him. You don’t. It’s just sex, no strings attached. It’s not like you're falling for him.
The hearts beating rapidly in both their chests say otherwise.
Alhaitham’s breath on your neck, his mesmerizing scent, soft lips brushing against yours slowly and passionately as you sat in his lap.
One of his hands stroked the side of your left thigh.

He rolled his eyes, “Then why’d you come? You knew exactly what you were getting yourself into tracking me down yet again.” He placed a hand under your neck, leaving wet kisses. You let out a moan, him a smirk.
“See? You love what I’m doing you, why care if it’s wrong?”
His hand moving from your neck to your cheek,
“I said nothing about how I didn’t like it. Just that we shouldn’t be. My people will never forgive me. Especially after your betrayal.” You explain, grabbing the hand with the grip Alhaitham has on your cheek. He made you look into his eyes.
“Then…in that case…” he started, looking deep into your eyes, stroking your cheek. “...It’s our little secret.” He captured your lips again, his available hand running through your hair.
You give in, kissing him back, deepening the kiss as your whole body feels like exploding. The smirk on his lips grew, pinning you down on the sofa.
“I will break you, sweetheart. You’re mine now.” he whispered in your ear, spreading your legs apart.
