Looks great! Thank you for the tips!! Im excited for spring. I havent cut the grass in months and its spread to the veg patch, so i better get on top of that 😅 Good thing its raining lots in melbourne, it should come right out. I read about "ketchup n fries" plant which is pretty epic and great for space saving, but to make thibgs easier i think ill just find a big pot and plant potatoes and a tomato plant 😊
It’s a lot to get your head around but once you’ve started, it’s much easier! Find a good podcast or audiobook to listen to while you tackle them. Good luck!
I live in Melbourne thank you for posting content I can get advice from! I also enjoy these types of videos, not many like this online showing the whole process. I have 4 types of weeds that make up my entire lawn, can people use weeds instead of grass? If I can possibly remove 3 of the types and keep one as my lawn..
You’re very welcome! Weeds instead of grass just wouldn’t look or feel as nice, but I don’t see why not. However I have to be honest, our grass is fake! It was like that when we moved in and I planned to pull it up but soon learnt it was great for crawling babies / toddlers and for the bigger kids practicing ball sports, so we’re going to keep it in until they’re a bit older!
When we moved in my first goal was to put in real grass - turns out it’s great for toddlers, crawling babies and kids ball sports - so we’ll stick with it until they’re a bit older!
Thank you for sharing your videos, Christie. My wife and I find them very inspirational. Bring on Spring!!
Love hearing this! Thanks for the feedback and best of luck with your garden ☺️
