Best Sausage Pepper and Onion Roll

This recipe is for my Italian sausage pepper and onion roll. This recipe has been handed down from generation to generation. My grandmother made it and taught my mother how to make it and my mother taught me how to make it. It is very easy to do as with most of my recipes that I put up here on UA-cam. And it requires very few ingredients.
The best thing is this sausage roll tastes amazing. It's super moist and everyone will love it regardless of you serve it as an appetizer, standalone dish or whatever. It is great for tailgate parties and also for exquisite Italian dinners.
