Christopher Elliott please do explain that contradiction to the laws of science that states something has to lose moisture to dry/cure not gain moisture, as what you're thinking is a total bs, the glue WILL get weaker because you change the moisture/fluid content AND chemical structure, as most soaps contain oils, dyes and parabins, stuff that would mix with the glue, *BUT* I am not saying the glue wouldn't be stronger binding, I am saying however that it's going to take longer to cure, seriously, science is important when you are claiming something will happen... But unfortunately as you clearly ignored it, you basically made your comment invalid until you explain it using science

the amount of pressure in a hydraulic press will be no match for the superglue. Press wins, every single time.

well if it can apply 10 tonnes of pressure down, it can apply a similar amount moving up as well and superglue is a brittle bond between non porous surfaces, like the surfaces on a press. Press definately wins down and up.

Latent finger prints at crime scenes are sometimes processed by heating super glue in an enclosed chamber. The superglue vapor bonds to the oil in finger prints and makes them easier to process without disturbing the print. I'd assume you were having super glue bonding to the oils in your skin when it wafted over you. Eyes and lungs are also notoriously sensitive and delicate, so it doesn't much surprise me that they too were burning.

Soak stuff in it! Like a stuffed animal. Wood. Cotton balls. See if you can make a stuffed animal look normal but super solid. Fill water balloons. Nitrogen bubbles through it? Add a little soap if you can't make bubbles. Add one of the glow fluids to it and see if you can use the activator on it after it drys.

Acetone is used to remove Superglue ( It mostly use for nail polish remover ) Try to mix the Acetone and the Superglue and then

Cast super glue?
I heard super glue is often used in layers with baking soda (I think) as a catalyst to fill in chips and dings on Helicopter propeller blades, or repairing other things in a similar way. Then it's ground down to the desired shape.
What if you got even MORE super glue, poor it into molds and see the result, it's durability, it's malleable, and so on...
Another idea is to get that "hydrophobic" stuff, poor it on a peace of cloth and poor small to large amounts of super glue to watch it dry as you mess around with it, as if it were liquid nitrogen! That would be awesome!

this is a teflon pot. Teflon is known to be one of the most unreaktive composit materials that exist. This means you can even store super strong acids like sulfiric or hydrochloric acid in a teflon pan / pot.

super glue has some interesting properties with cotton, leather, wool. heard it gets hot enough to cause 2nd and 3rd degree burns. so I thought it was interesting that you were wearing Jeans while playing with super glue. but it could probably get hot enough to warm up something covered in tinfoil, like pizza or a hotpocket.

yeah those can heal over time, 2nd and 3rd degree burns actually require plastic surgery and skin grafts to fix in any permanent fashion, if the effected area for the 2nd is large enough and 3rd is just a no brainer. So yeah there's a reason you wear synthetic fibers when handling super glue :/
