I think Plaid has a whole new level of launching, where it doesn't matter how many passengers are aboard or how much they weigh- it simply launches out from under their seats and only THEN does it even have to move them!
Shipments of the MXP actually started in October but very limited.

Definitely doesn't feel as fast as the Model S Plaid. It rolls out slow in the video.
You're right. It isn't. S is 1.99 seconds with 1 foot rollout tested and MXP is 2.3 seconds with 1 foot rollout as tested which is faster than Tesla claims. The entire .3 second difference is in launch because rollon tests between the two are nearly identical which means the MXP must be producing a bit more power than the S given the 600 lb weight difference.
@@sorka95032 I’ve had two Plaids. Neither can do 1.99 to 60 on the street with rollout. I could do it at a prepped dragstrip though.
@@Tothefloor That only serves to show the difference between the S and X Plaid is even less given all the 2.3 0-60 MXP draggies without prepped tracks.
