Would definitely like to see more of this after Leroy is done. Don't just let the channel die off now that Cleetus' work is complete.
Agreed. Imagine getting to see freaking Gravedigger, El Toro all the trucks we(maybe just I lol) grew up with.
Same
Yes!
@@John_Conner222 Just getting started 🤙
@@StarrCreationsyou guys are doing stuff basically no one else is doing I don't see you guy's having any trouble growing skilled traders like you're guy's are hard to find.
You guys did an amazing job on this body
Thank you
It’s so cool to learn about a process that I have zero knowledge of, explained by a pro that is good at explaining.
Good stuff ✊🏾
PVA, Gel coat, Mold release wax, fiber glass.. Great to see things haven't changed in 30 years. Great job on the molds.
Stuff works.
Same pretty much for carbon work. Just laying carbon fiber instead of glass
Love the energy in the shop! And the editing is fantastic!!! Can’t wait to see more from you guys!
What an amazing video the step-by-step process was badass I tip my hat to Star Creations in the whole crew you guys rock I can't wait to see Leroy going down the track with the new body hell yeah brother
Can't wait to see it on Leroy, unbelievable amount of work that appears to go into making this!
Cleetus always Inspires me....Thank you Guys for Actually Building this!!! Leroy will Perform way better now!!
Finding the balance between a fun place to work and out of control is not an easy task. It looks like you have found the balance based on the final product. Well done!
The boys are definitely hamming it up for the camera too.
My thoughts exactly! But you know for SURE them boys are having more fun off camera without the pressure of 100ks of people watching
Fabulous job guys. Round of applause
You guys do some awesome work. Can't wait to see the finished product.
Everytime I see that thing it gets better lookin....I swear that is one of the most beautiful, badass, car bodies I've ever seen. It will be one of the best looking cars ever built.....period. great job and great work guys
I've worked blue collar jobs all my life in shipyards and steel mills as an industrial electrician. The comradery and general guy shenanigans that go on while building awesome stuff is probably the single best part of this kind of work. You guys have an awesome team that seems like it does daily "team building exercises" that office nerds could only dream of 😂😂.
That was amazing guys! You cleared up all of the questions I've had about the Monster truck bodies. And it is nice to see the Cleetus body from start to finish. Cool. 😎
I feel itchy just from watching this! 🤣 🤣
Me too mate, I did fiberglassing years ago, and always wore long sleeves when I was within a foot of the stuff !!
Hell yeah brothers! Good job!
Great behind-the-scenes look at the effort needed to create custom fiberglass parts!
Beautiful. Now the next obvious question is... Carbon Fiber when?!?!?
Vacuum bagged. Now were talking....lol
@@chookchook5600 Almost looked hot enough in that booth that they could use pre-preg and just shut the door to autoclave it!
Carbon fibre weighs more surely?
@@SAMWHO1Not typically it doesn’t.
Apparently not, carbon fibre can be 15% lighter, madness!
I will never look at a fibreglass body the same. Thanks for process videos 😎 from Westcoast 🇨🇦☮️.
Bad ass guys! Looks amazing
It was nice of cleet to come in and do that last 90% for you.
I don't think any of it was boring I mean I could have watched more of the process... Great job guys 👏💪
Insane process…have done ‘glass repair and body work for a couple decades, but this gives me a great appreciation for what happens at the beginning…
Sweet, I saw the short video about Fiberlay and was hoping to see more of it!! Another great video, guys!
Even if Leroy doesn't go as fast as predicted with the new body. Damn he is going to look awesome doing it. You guy's killed it.
Leroy should roll out with the body, I think cleet said Leroy is using like 400-600 horses to just move through the air
@@TheXrossfade800
Not only do you guys do great work, but it seems like you all are able to have fun at the same time.
New subscriber here but I’ve been watching this build. You guys do incredible work and it’s cool to see the process and effort it takes to do what the guys do. I’ve definitely been learning some things I didn’t know I wanted to learn, lol. Great job fellas.
It's a masterpiece, boys. Can't wait to see it finished, mounted, and flying down the track. Well done!
Boys, you're killin' it! Awesome job, looks great. 👍🏼 👌🏼
I’m very impressed with what you guys do and glad cleetus introduced you guys to the channel! Can’t wait to see it set in cleetus for the first time!
Man that’s a ton of work. Awesome to see the process
Are these bodies vacuum bagged at all? Seems like a significant weight to strength advantage could be added by pulling out extra resin from the body. Looks beautiful, nice job!
You all have inspired me to try out fiberglass manufacturing. I am glued to the screen for every single detail you are willing to show!
Sick guys!!!🔥🔥🔥💪🏼🚀
Bad ass work you guys time to see the final results can’t wait to see it finished
Congratulations on such a clean fiberglass shop. I've been in some shops where the floor is 6" thick and looks like the surface of the moon. Great job!
Am I the only one who just loves the colour of that tooling gelcoat?
Probably not , looks similar to chevy orange. My old boss has a 69 C10 that colour, looks sharp.
Great work guys! Can't wait to see Leroy in his new duds.
It’s so cool to see masters of their craft at work! Leroy looks great (even though I’m sad to lose the flying brick). 😊
Work of art, y’all crushed it!
HELL YEAH BROTHER!!!
You guys nailed it, great job
Cleet is about to have a busy end of the year. Leeroy is going to need a lot of testing and dealing in, and eagle will be rolling in October sometime. Going to be exciting
Looks awesome. Gotta make sure those flags are pointed forward on the finished version
your on how's it made.👍
looks just like the model! if it wasnt for the fiber around the fringes, i'd have thought it was pasted over in post!
Gonna be interesting seeing what old Leroy can do with a full eagle body.
Leroy and eagle
She gonna soar!!
could pick up 10-12 mph on the big end
@naufalkusumah2192 Oh easily, I'd guess. Hopefully, downforce keeps it hooked harder mid track and on as well for ET drop.
1.5 second on his PB
Is this the same amount of effort for all the monster truck bodies? Like huge amount of time up front to build Molds and then you can pump out the bodies fairly quickly afterwards…
Plug wise 90% yes. Mold body wise…probably less. Monster truck body’s need to be basic level strength and not so refined. They can be more bumpy so to speak, not for aerodynamic use and there guaranteed to be destroyed quickly lol no point in making it perfect just to be destroyed in possibly 7 days time frame and have to get another 1 layed up.
Nice to see Hagrid working outside of Hogwarts.. Beard is on point still
His new gig
@@therealcmplx He is doing great.. I dig it
You're a wizard harry.
Yes sir, it's absolutely beautiful up here in Alaska. First time hearing of you and now subscribed. Can't wait to see and learn more about you.
Nice!
You know Cleetus will ask if that mold will be good for a carbon fiber Leroy, so you can just as well make one already!
Farbon Ciber all the things
Carbon the world
🤣🤣🤣 sure cus he wudnt have them do it already if they were capable of it. carbon is similar to fiberglass but its not the same. especially not spray chopped fiberglass. they would need a huge autoclave. idk if they have it but i suspect we would have seen it before now if they did.
Should look At Carbon/Kevlar Fabric with the Kevlar Fabric color Blue
I mean, it's not the biggest leap in the world for a shop like this, especially if this opens up a new door for them to make racecar parts. It might be worth the investment and an oven would be a lot cheaper than an autoclave and would do the job just as well with a bit more work @@TheJomoe1
I feel so itchy just watching this from Qld Australia haha 😅 crazy amount of work. Well done to the whole crew. 👌💪
Super cool man, you guys rock, cant wait to see the body on Leroy! thanks for your hard work!
Hope you 'Saved the Mold", Cleetus and Racing is hard on the equipment... Thx for sharing.
That thing looks amazing!
Awesome work guys.
Wow , the amount of hours this takes is immense. The development cost must be very high. Beautiful job , it looks awesome. Great explanation video. Many thanks.
Awesome! Stay in School kids.. bring shop class back again. Pure Science right there!
Loving seeing this process, I am nerding out on how something appears easy but just ain't. So many processes, people, and abilities involved. Nice work boys
Heck yeahhhh finally a full video like we’ve been waiting for!!!
Really great job guys! Looks amazing!
Leroy is about to be one insane car! He already was but dang I can’t wait!
Sick build ...it could get a little complicated in the process but when it's all said and done yall gon have a bad ass product 🔥🔥🔥
That is absolutely stunning! Great job.
Looking awesome!!
Use to assist in making boat hard tops, fiberglass sucks, amazing the molds we made and some of jetskis we did also. You guys doing from imagination is awesome.
Very cool guys
So amazed at the final product! Need to patent that beautiful body! All the worries and obsessing over details paid off! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I’m itchy just watching this. Very cool watching how all this goes down.
"I think we're at about (looks at watch) 10,000 degress right now" 😂😂 should not have laughed that hard
Great work . Hell Yeah Brothers
I'm itching watching this ...... Great Job guys
Such a metric butt ton of freakin work!!! I love it.
I didn't know Oxhorn did fiberglass 😅 just messing around! Love seeing the process of how this is done!!!
110 lbs out of the mold my guess was 350 lbs complete after its mounted on Leroy the flying brick , can't wait to see the final weigh in !
Impeccable work!!
Sir, this video gets me so jazzed up!! I freaking love it lol great work guys and fix that AC before any heat prostration issues arise 🎉🎉🎉
Subbed because Cleetus told me to, and the dudes never wrong! Great work guys 👍🏻
He has a pony tail........ Tee hee... 🦄
You guys do amazing work!
Nice job boys. Cletus will have Leroy running 6's regularly.
Now the flange pieces make sense compared to, "Here we are in the booth upside down and inside out, lets spray!" 😎
Millions in the minutiae!
😅 I have a 16 ft Clipper canoe that weighs 75 lbs.........imagine if you guys side lined those too 😊
As a native Floridian, I can smell this video and I started to itch! 😂
Hell yeah brother!!!
Cannot wait. Autumn 2024 gonna be 🔥🔥🔥 with Eagle AND Leroy
Unreal how much work it is. Can you explain why the Gelcoat and the Red coat are mixed in little cups rather than one big batch? Thanks....
looks so much like the bat mobile... not hatin', just can't unsee it. :) GREAT stuff!
Wouldn't a selective use of uni-directional or bi-directional fiberglass be stronger for the same weight? It seems like the loads at 200 mph will be high enough for this to be a consideration.
Nice. You and your team are on point!
You guys rock. Can't wait to see leroy make a hit fully dressed
Gunna be insane!
Awesome job on getting this whole project nearly done!
I'm genuinely curious as to how much this completed mould costs $ all in...
I have a similar project car in the works right now.
Thanks for taking the time to film and share this whole process.
You guys know a lot more about this than I do, but it seems like you'd want to put the mold, on the plug and build a steel frame around it to make sure it doesn't change shape
So probably a dumb question, but why the primer on this mold? Does it hold the foam together along with the screws? Or? Just curious! I know nothing about what yall do, butnit sure is interesting and cool to see! Glad yall are posting cleetus’ stuff! Get to watch how it’s all done by professionals!
Looks like very nice work! Do you have a spare going in case of a...mishap during testing? Maybe the body pins not installed or something?
Fiberlay will do well in SC there are a lot boats manufactured here.
You guys really have to love your work especially in shorts and short sleeve shirts im itching just watching your video but you guys do some awesome work
WOW!!!👍👍Iguessed 125lbs... Impressive . Lots of variables now , Lexan windows, Structural metal, But the H.P. vs Aero will definately show up on the timeslip. Be interesting to see how the Aero will overcome the previous drag CO,
& release the Horsepower . Should slice like BUTTER!!!!🤙🤙🏁🏁🇺🇸🇺🇸
DIGG ITT ! ARE YOU GONNA POST A BIG TRUCK BUILD IN THE FUTURE ?
3:38 - I've never seen that method of making flanges. It seems a lot easier. Thanks for sharing (I'm a hobbiest).
Awesome job lads
Awesome work gentlemen looks great
Did you run a CFD model with a single air duct on the rear spoiler where the CFD modle shows the dark blue coming to a point? There is a huge low pressure area behind and under the rear. I'd be interested to see the results of a 6 inch diameter tear drop
