i have this sponge, and I love it. But I do notice it gets cakey once you started using the powder. Do you have to wash it everytime you use it? I mean, I do just for sanitary reasons, but I would think if you dont and keep reaplying it all dirty, your powder would start to look cakey, no?
Honestly I think u should’ve tried a loose powder with the powder sponge and tapped some off on the back of the hand then went it also I wanna see how it works when dry because the sponge claimed to be good wet or dry
Next time use it dry. Using it wet it added a lot of powder/coverage, of course. Since you use a brush dry, you need to use the sponge dry also. 💜😀 MUAs have used sponges for powder for decades, but dry not wet sweetie. 😁 💜 Hope that helps next time you use the sponge. 😁 💜
They actually recommend using wet or dry! I've tried it both ways now and I actually prefer it wet. Personally, when I use it dry it doesn't blend the powder in as well. But that's just me!
I am also an MUA, and I find using the sponge damp makes the blend and coverage seamlessly. Product doesn’t hold well on a dry sponge, and doesn’t provide as even of a coverage.
I just got the real techniques sponge and had no idea how I should use it. Thank you!
Wow the sponge side looks WAY better imo!

I washed it every 2-3 uses - definitely a little more maintenance since I typically only clean my powder brush every other week!
Such a thorough review👍🏾👍🏾 Thanks!🙂
Is it normal that my beauty blender gives off glitter particles? I want to buy a new one but I don’t know if every beauty blender does this?
lol no it's probably got in contact with something glittery on my vanity! Definitely doesn't give off glitter, sorry about that!
Your descriptions are sooooo good!
LOVE this eye makeup! 😍
Aw thank you Chelsea!!
Seems like the Juno sponge the one that had a microfiber type feel to it.
Cant wait to try it out!
Faye Faye I've only tried the Miss A microfiber sponge! But yes, similar concept!
I bought this sponge thinking it was a normal sponge ,can i still use it to put on my liquid foundation?
I was also wondering also
Target's website description says you can. I'll be trying it out myself.
I use it with my foundation and I love it

You seem to be reviewing doing your makeup w a sponge, rather than the sponge itself.

This was meant to be wet. Don’t sound so condescending! Just bc you’re a MUA doesn’t mean you know everything.
@@bluesoldierette She definitely sounded condescending adding in "sweetie".
Cynthias stylemua The makers recommend using it dry or WET .........SWEETIE
