Greetings, all! Here is a video we've been working on for almost a year now featuring Loki Laufeyson. It sums up his character evolution and the hurt done to him which caused him to harden. :'( The song is "Shattered" by Trading Yesterday. :)

Great vid! I love Loki so much more than Thor.
I think a lot of people identify with him because he's an outsider. Everyone loved & worshipped Thor but Loki's 'friends' weren't his. Everyone seemed to just tolerate him because of Thor, and he knew it. I know what it's like. It's not just sibling rivalry, it's trying to keep from disappearing. Then of course, Loki reaches a breaking point and kinda loses it...but I hope he gets to redeem himself in future films.
Starbits7 everything Loki did was to bring back Thor after his exile and maybe have a bit of fun in the side. Lol

Loki’s story reminds me of Tony’s story and I like characters with redemption stories.

That is one of the most true things I have ever heard. Hell, someone made a meme about it - "Adoptive, emotionally unstable son is hanging over a bridge, still tells him he's not good enough."

I have a theory. Odin wanted loki to commit suicide. He knew he couldn't make peace with the frost giants because Thor went in and ruined everything so he had no more need for loki. Also, while he was hanging over the edge, what was stopping Odin from pulling them up? And I don't know where Thor's hammer was in all of this but we know Odin can hold it so why didn't he just fly down and save loki?
I know it's an insane theory and I'm pretty sure I just want to blame someone for loki's death but it does confuse me why Odin didn't just pull them up instead of saying loki was wrong.

Loki is a villain that I think most of us can relate to, and that's what makes him a wonderfully written out character. I for one relate to all of these, not the adopted part even though I was given to a foster parent after birth for a while before being returned to my parents who left me with my grandmother, so I feel Loki's pain to some extent and that's what makes these amvs 10xs more beautiful for me. Lovely video!

God Almighty...this is beautiful. I'm not adopted but I do feel like an outsider with my friends, so I guess I kinda relate with Loki...?O.o. Also, I've been hung up on Loki feels for the last...oh, four months, which is roughly how long I've been in the Marvel fandom. Why do I do this to myself? Loki, Tony...seems like I sympathize with dark haired, arrogant-ish geniuses who feel like outcasts and also have jerk dads. I can't really understand the last part, cuz my dad is amazing.

I love this man so much. you have no idea how important he is to me. I relate to hims so much feel so much for him. ive recently had a breakdown so having something or someone to focus on and relate to even if they are "fictional" makes it a tiny bit easier. they aren't fictional to me because they live in heart and head and the fact they can make you feel so much for them prove that they aren't. id love to meet Loki, not the actor but Loki , id love Tom Hiddleston to be dressed and act as Loki if i ever got to meet him.and yes i am sobbing ffs.
