The only thing about the build that feels out of place to me is the level of Ranger because of redundancy that can be fixed easily. I do like it still though
I still absolutely do not get the idea of getting Actor It's genuinely one of the worst feats in the game, just take ASI instead to get 2 stat point instead of one (you don't need the proficiency as they are really easy to get anyway) Or you could just take Ethel's deal for the +1 boon and then take another feat entirely Genuinely, I don't get this advice in the slightest
If you’re a tiefling or dragon born you could jus take your first level in fighter so you can get con save prof, heavy armor an defense fighting style. Then bam no need to take ranger levels
Man seeing vids like these really gives me the urge to start a new playthrough even though i haven't gotten past moonrise at all in my time owning this game lol.
A fun build that im running is a drow warlock of the fiend with corpsegrinder the two handed hammer and pact of the blade and great weapon master and a couple of other fun gizmos like being half illithid makes my character a fucking animal, has like a plus 16 to hit so keep GWM: all in, on at all times for absolutely disgusting damage and massive crits, which allows you to hit for a 3rd time if you kill or crit, and constant temp hp top up means he never really gets hurt, plus the ability to fly and use multiple misty steps it feels cheesy🤣
Can you make an illithd character that uses the emperors armor and all the mindflayert abilities plus equipment and class that works best with? I’m stuck between a sorcerer or a paladin since it’s heavy armor

Yeah I was really confused by the Ranger level, I would assume it's because it's a 1/2 caster So you're not losing out on too many spell slots
