Good grief man. You're a machine! How do you crank out so much consistently great content so quickly! Hard work pays off and I sure love seeing your channel grow.
I appreciate you doing an inshore video. Some of us don’t have a boat big enough to get offshore so learning how to fish inshore is a big help. Thanks Mr Steve. God bless.
Another great video Stephen. It is a pleasure to watch you continually change your fishing environments up. You are to be commended on your knowledge of fish and how you treat and respect them. Also a big shoot out to how you treat your mother and include her in your passion. Keep up the great work sir!!!
Going through listening to some old Dauphin Island Fishing report podcasts with Butch Theory and heard you on there. You were one of my favorite guests they’ve had. They should definitely have you on again!
I have enjoyed watching your channel grow and giving God the glory for it. I’m still hyped up over your Wah-hoo. We fish Porte St. Joe mostly and are still trying to get our first Hoo on the boat. Keep it up my friend
Take advantage of fishing with ur mom y’all make great team keep em coming enjoyed as usual I’ve been watching bout year r longer learning lots from you
For sure! Rod: Star Rods Plasma II 7' Medium Heavy Fast Reel: Daiwa Saltist MQ 2500 Line: Power Pro Super Slick V2 Braid 15lb. I cant get them to sell but they are available at most retailers. I buy all my rods and reels personally.
Hi Steven, thank you for another great video - this time fishing in your own back yard, literally. I noticed that your dock and all of your neighbors are basically not there. Is there a reason ya'll haven't rebuilt the docks and boat lifts in your bay area? Thanks.
Absolutely love catching spanish mackerel on 1/2 oz white bucktail jigs, Rapala Size 10 X Raps, Gotcha plugs, and Bubble Rigs!! Here's a good video of mine Spanish Mackerel fishing: ua-cam.com/video/7MP1U-zbmfY/v-deo.html
I commented on another video where you used a doa and I told you to use Berkeley jig head and 3inch new penny shrimp then I found this one later I should have known! Your the man
Steve, you mentioned snook in the video. That's such a target fish where I'm from down in SWF but I haven't seen you fishing or catching them in that area. Are they pretty rare there?
I’m not Steve but I live on his side of the gulf (sorta) In the area of the gulf between east Texas and Mobile Bay Area The waters get too cold and don’t stay warm long enough to support the warmer tropical Fish like snook Pomp and some snappers etc we get em for a lil bit but not year round like in Fl So we have a bunch more red / drum trout cats year round than anything At least in my experience fishing the salt here in SW La
I’ll be in the orange beach July 16th-22nd , the place where we’re staying it has a private dock and I’m planning to fishing a lot there , any tips on what to use for bait ect in the bay?
Hey bama! I have a trip to the Texas Gulf Coast coming up, I was wondering if you have any tips for surf fishing. Everytime I go I end up only catching hardheads and gafftops using a carolina rig with a 5/0 hook and cutbait (assorted baitfish and shrimp/squid) as bait and would love to catch a bull red or some shark from the beach.
Pelican Pete! that's what we call them...they can be quite aggressive..we were fishing the creeks/canals around key west some years ago... using banana sinkers w/ shrimp...I was pulling up some kinda a small jack, and Pete comes swooping down and swallows the whole rig and fish....somehow, all I got back was the hook! I feel bad that he might have swallowed the lead sinkers. THanks for the vid!!
Hi any issues with your handles on the Diawas? I have 2 3000 saltist MQs the handles snapped twice at the weakest point right at the ball. Diawa just sent out another 2 handles. Really weak point right by the ball handle. I have a 4000 also but no issues, the handle is a bit thicker.
Hey bama I’m a junior in highschool from Mississippi and love your videos and was wondering what is a good CHEAP starting camera for me to start my own fishing videos
I caught some live shrimp last week. Hooked it behind the horns. Caught a 20" red (15"-23" slot) and a 14" trout. Flounder size went to 16" in SC this year from low populations.
I love bass fishing! I enjoy using a Black/Blue Chatterbait or a Green Pumpkin Senko. I like using Spro Popping Frogs and Whopper Ploppers as well depending on the conditions.
Always a joy when Bama shares new content.
My favorite part is always thanking the good lord above for everything he does for us.
Couldn't be here without Him! Thank you
100% agreed
I instantly get a smile on my face whenever Bama Saltwater posts! As a Pensacola native, I appreciate all your videos!
Love seeing mom out fishing with you..... my mom loved fishing, but age and poor health keeps her at home anymore.
Good grief man. You're a machine! How do you crank out so much consistently great content so quickly! Hard work pays off and I sure love seeing your channel grow.
Thanks bro... I just get lucky ;)

Beautiful 1st HOOK set BAMA seeing you catch that no problem gives me motivation 💪🏾💪🏾🎣
I have a lot of respect for the fact that, as a grown man, you still say “yes Ma’am” to your Mom. Thanks for the videos, an God Bless 🐟🐠🐡🐠🐟

I cant get them to sell but they are available at most retailers. I buy all my rods and reels personally.
Inshore slam , for me I’ve always thought trout red snook. But I guess flounder trout red is a slam too! Nice
that first technique there is sort of like fishing a shaky head. can you throw that on deeper points, ledges, etc?
I hope the next one is a catch clean cook!
Love these videos man keep it up!
Beautiful area. SO jealous. Enjoy. Thanks again.
Your video's always make me want to fish! Going tomorrow for sure!!
Good luck !
Great video lots of action love the gear you use and I also like fishing those dock lights you never know whats gonna come around
I love dock light fishing for sure!
One week and you’ve got 3k more subscribers! Way to go!

Thank you!! and mostly becuase it's extremely expensive. My neighbors a few docks down paid around $80K for theirs lol.
this channel is growing soooo much 😁
It's awesome to see!!!!

Live Shrimp under a popping cork with a split shot weight is my favorite weigh. You can also use the lures in this video!
Nice catch dude
Thanks!
Whats up bama.. i recently got a white topwater shrimp lure and i was wondering if that would work well for trout.
For sure. Trout are opportunistic predators. They'll eat what's available and in front of them during the right times.
Where do you launch from
I started watching like a month ago and I’ve already watched all of your videos, love them
I love inshore on a quiet weekday .
I agree!
Always a good day! Great fish!
Nice slam!

whats it like when momma comes fishing and catches a whopper... great vlog brother
IKR!! Thank you
I live and fish on the island of Tenerife in the atlantic and we get huge lizard fish here. Good sport those lizards. Often over 5 pounds.
I’m just wandering what type of boat is that
Love your videos brother 👍👍
Some really great action!
More backyard fishing 😎
For sure!!
Bama🎉
Whoop whoop!
Mamma catching that huge fish was badass.
She slayed it!
How were you fishing with no boats going out? LOL 👍🎣🐟
IKR. weekdays lol
I have not had issues on any of mine. I did bend out the handle on my Lexa 300HD but that was my fault lol. a 6 1/2 ft Shark
Hey, can you give me good tips for spec trout fishing. I’m kinda new to it
Have a Topwater lure tied on, a jerkbait tied on , or a soft plastic minnow imitating lure on. Best bay is to use live shrimp under a popping cork!
You killed the soul of that pelican when he saw you throw redfish back 😂
That pelican was thinking "I'm just gonna sit here and let this idiot catch my dinner for me."
IKR, Ricky thought he was getting a free meal haha!!
Hey bama I’m a junior in highschool from Mississippi and love your videos and was wondering what is a good CHEAP starting camera for me to start my own fishing videos
Go Pro makes the best ones on the market, find them on sale online is the best way to get one!
Thank you so much
Love your videos!!
Thank ya!!
Do you still use toadfish rods?
Yes i do!! I use the 3000 on the 7' 2" mostly inshore!
I caught some live shrimp last week. Hooked it behind the horns. Caught a 20" red (15"-23" slot) and a 14" trout. Flounder size went to 16" in SC this year from low populations.
You are my kind of fisherman, because you go right back the next day 🎣
Ya got too haha! Thank you
Love your videos
Why are you not out fishing for snapper around the rigs
Rough water today!! Lot's of storms and wind
Was this in little lagoon?
1st part was!!
Do you bass fish and if so what do you use for bait
I love bass fishing! I enjoy using a Black/Blue Chatterbait or a Green Pumpkin Senko. I like using Spro Popping Frogs and Whopper Ploppers as well depending on the conditions.
Nice fish momma!!!😮
