This ride is still one of my faves! When the weather doesn’t cooperate or it’s too late at night for a ride or whatever, then I watch this video as somewhat of a substitute until I can get on my Rebel 1100 DCT on the road. 👍
Absolutely amazing ride!!! I have the 2022 model and love it!! When I’m not riding or it’s late and everyone is asleep, man I’m watching this from time to time! Great scenery, great bike and great ride, thanks. 👏 👍
beautiful place to ride! Do you use the DTC mode more often than the manual? Does anything affect if we use only the DTC? Or we have to switch between two modes often to keep the bike functioning properly. Thanks! ✌🏍
Hey, thanks! I can only chose between "auto" ( in which case the bike shift the gears autonomously) or "manual" (in which case i have to change the gears with the +/- levers). I usually use the auto mode when i want just to cruise around, and i switch to manual when i want to have more control and have more fun. I don't know anything about long term effects when you just use 1 mode, but i'm pretty sure if you do the normal maintenance everything will be fine.
You can also up/down shift the Honda Rebel CMX1100 DCT while in Automatic Mode to gain better control of the bike when necessary. It works great for me, especially if I happen to be in City traffic or stop and go traffic! Also, having that control over my bike helps when entering and exiting corners as well. 👍
hey. is this the sound of the stock exhaust? or did you buy a custom one? watching the video just listening to the enginge noise is great man... thanks for the video
Here in Italy Honda sell only the DCT version of this bike and they are very hard to find as well. My personal experience is that I really like the DCT and I'm happy that I didn't choose another bike just to get a manual one. The DCT is lovely feature, you set it to Auto when you wanna cruise around and Manual when you are on backroads just to have more "control". I would recommend a test drive if you have any doubt.
get the DCT, and if you ever want to shift you can literally just flip a switch to make it manual.... DCT/automatics in general are just so much nicer, ill literally never shift again in my life.
I also use that set at another bike and I was afraid that in CMX there won't be enough space for that set. Could you send me photos how its look without phone?
Patiently awaiting more content from this awesome channel!!! My own will be up and running 🔜. 👍

ride safe always sir..
I'm gonna need a night ride version of this.
Very nice roads!
Yeah I have tons of beautiful roads around me. Sooner or later I'll ride them all 😁
i like this video! Have a good trip.
Thanks!

Are you using automatic mode for the backroads?
no, to have more control I prefer the manual mode
wait a min, do you down shift by applying quick break on dct? so the bike think you are preparing to stop?
The bike doesnt think. If the brake is depressed RPMs fall significantly, thats a condition for DCT to downshift for you.
Nice bike nice scenery
Thanks!

Thanks! yes, it is the stock exhaust. It doesn't look very good, but it sounds great in my opinion.
Ciao. Bellissima moto.

@@Combimotorides Thank you for the availability.
Last thing: what kind of phone holder are you using?
@@uerti4013 it's a quadlock phone mount with wireless charging
How do you like the DCT? I've been waiting on getting a Rebel 1100 cause I want the manual version and my dealership hasn't gotten one yet.
Two weeks and you'll never go back to manual transmission 🙂

@@ZoahPorre Well, no dealer within 200 miles of me has gotten a manual 1100 in stock in the last 6 months, so I'm buying a DCT on Monday! So excited.
@@sinnamortai well, happy with the DCT?
Hello what mounting for the phone you use?
Hi! I'm using the quadlock phone mount with vibration dampener and wireless charging head.
I also use that set at another bike and I was afraid that in CMX there won't be enough space for that set. Could you send me photos how its look without phone?

in my opinion, it fits very good.
I wouldn’t want to be a passenger in that silver/gray car, driving like a drunk driver.
Hi..
How about the brake? Is it good enough?
I heard it has single disc front ...
Yeah, it has a single disc on the front brake. Remember that this is a cruiser bike not a naked/sport bike so if you ride it accordingly, it's fine.
