This wee squealer wasn't mine. We checked back a year later at the hotel, and no one knew what we were talking about, so we don't know it's fate. Several folks have told me that javelinas don't do well in captivity..
I think they're hard to raise to maturity. Don't know what happened to the cute little thing. I hope he or she is out grubbing (or doing whatever javelinas do...).
@@denisedoherty4909 they are extremely aggressive animals. They can’t see very well so they rely on since of smell. If you happen to be walking a dog anywhere in the vicinity of a pack they will attack.
You should not have them as pets. They are wild, native to the American Southwest and roam in herds. Unless this little guy was in distress he should have left it alone.
@@drip_kage360 There are reasons why they are not common as pets. They have scent glands that supposedly smell awful. They also have very sharp teeth and can defend themselves viscously. I had one come up to me and smell my leg. Unfortunately, people feed them and they are losing their fear of people. Probably just a matter of time before some kid gets gored.
Those little grunts and squeals are so cute!
They’re cute when they’re little.....

It's cute till it's not. Javelina are brutal animals, even by animal kingdom standards.
They just dont rake shit from anyone. I got mad respect for the bad asses.
Así de ese tamaño, sin duda es una monada y de gran ternura, pero de adulta y con los colmillos desarrollados, mas vale que sea mansa!
It's so cute!!!!
Marathon, Texas. I've seen them up in the mountains nearby.
Aww, a baby walking chainsaw.
Hard to believe there not pigs! Just like the aardvark, and tapir they are not pigs!❤😂🎉😊
they are closely related to pigs, so its not surprising they look like them.
Hi Javelina is wonderful ,it's still in your life?? ❤
Whatever happened to this javelina?
They look just like feral hog piglets, but lack the watermelon stripes.
I want one!!
You can own one until the javelina is an adult.
Wonder what happened to it's mother? Hope it survived. I love javelinas.
poor little thing is scared to death :( Pick it up
When people keep these in there house, I could imagine all the crap they'd have to clean up.
where was this?? i really want to know where these animals are
aww IT LOOKS SO YUMMY jajajaja
soooo cute!!
Забавный 🙂❤️👍
Why are you keeping a javelina as a pet? That thing belongs out in the wild.
Not my pig.

its hungry n cold
CUUTTTEEE!
Aww

They are not pets!!!
Exactly they ruined my life over here in Arizona, I’m scared to get out of my truck everyday at 4:00am.

what a horrible thing to do. that little javelina belongs with it's own kind. they are not meant to be pets. poor baby. people are such jerks.
Probably an orphan
Do you know why they have it?? No. could have been an orphan as previously stated.
@@trailerlordYou don't buy it? Go try and take one then lol See what happens.
Ain’t he cute
Mignon mais il as besoin de sa mère
Eso para mí es maltrato animal
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH, CAN SOMEONE HAVE THEM FOR A PET OVER THERE?

@@countessratzass5408 what in theory would happen if you kept one as a pet
