- A really nice WW2 German Panther tank by 21st century toys. It's 1:18 scale, but scales closer to 1:16 scale. I mistakenly think it's a tiger tank in the video (face palm). Looks amazing with Joy toy WW" Wehrmacht, and Marauder WW2 soldiers.
These toys are really cool! I have a similar Panther, except it has green camo instead of being all sandy colored.
I've not seen the green one, bet it looks great
Somebody should bring them back. There must be a huge market for these great models.
I agree, even more so now with the resurgence of 1:18 scale

Some are being brought back as scale model kits at least. Check out HobbyBoss they have recently put for sale the Huey in 1:18 and couple years back they sold the Harrier, both are the 21st century molds. Huge beast the last one. Not at bad price, much cheaper than current 21st century toy prices but you must assemble and paint them. They must have other models there in 1:18.
I do volunteer work at a nonprofit children's clothing store in the States, and we also get toy donations. The ladies running it decided that they don't want to put out toys with weapons on them, so we either give them away to people we know, pitch them, or just don't accept the donation. Well, a week ago a big box came through that was absolutely stuffed with military toys and models, including 21st Century Toys diecast Panzer VI - Tiger I in 1/18 scale. I immediately claimed that box haha. It is such great quality; enough that now I want to collect the others to accompany it.

I love seeing Big Boys Toys being enjoyed. Those 21st Century scales in 1/18 and 1/32 were some _very_ nice vehicles. I still have a few of the 1\18 scale pieces that I display when running my 1\16 RC Armor. They look great and totally authentic out in the field.

My brother worked for 21C but left the company a little while before the collapse. I would do some carpentry and in return I would get a case of there products. I still have them. He went on to Sideshow Collectibles’s.

21st century toys were fantastic for accuracy
Reminds me of those unimax tanks. I've only ever picked up two of the 1/18 vehicle's when I was 17 , a Abrams and a m1 Bradley. I've had them in storage for years and they still work as well as the day I got them . Fun to use them in pics with the fear mecha tossing them over lol

I didn't pay much attention to 21st century tank series, but now when I look at them again, I think its details and quality is actually very good. Maybe I should get one to play with... Thanks for your video.

Hey. When I was little, I used to play with large scale toys. Big Jim from Mattel was my childhood action figure. I can tell by the sound of your voice, you might be from Australia. Every year, the National Museum of Transport located on the outskirts of Kirkwood, Missouri here in the USA, they hold a Pistons and Pumpers show, plus many other car and truck shows. As soon as things settle down, I hope you can come to St. Louis and swing by the Museum of Transport.
I'm actually from England. I never had big toys as a kid, but I'm sure as hell making to for it now! The Pistons and Pumpers show sounds awesome
National Museum of Transport Kirkwood, Missouri, I went there a lot as a kid, I remember riding the train they ran back on the far end of the outdoor part of the place in the early and mid 1980s. I live around a hour away from it in Jefferson county.
I have a small collection of 1/18 scale diecast cars but never got into 1/18 scale diecast tanks or aircraft because the prices of those type of models are bat poo crazy high. I know the 21th century 1/18 scale models are not diecast but when those were new in stores I never could get into buying them as I could get 2 or 3 1/18 scale diecast cars for the price of one of the 21th century models.

It's fantastic, you are going to love it. There's also a hatch on the back of the turret that opens too.

They should have made this in 1/6 scale back when they were in business for 12" figures, accessories, and vehicles!!

I have the camouflage version of this 21st Century Panther (same sculpt) - it is brilliant ! I HIGHLY recommend the matching 21st Century 1/18th TIGER I Tank, (I have the camo version) - it has a removable turret section with attached internal "gantry" & gunner/captains chairs plus extra internal details not included on other 21st Century 1/18 tanks.
I'm looking for it, I hope I can find it. Thanks for supporting my channel all the way from Australia.

They stopped making them years ago.... They are usually very expressive now. I went to Sweden 29 and half years ago!
I had my days with 21st Century, mostly the 1/6 figures. Far as the tanks go, Heng Long does rc in 1/16 for about the same price or less than what these things go for

I have a bunch of vehicles and men from 21st Century Toys. They are the best. I love them. I also have 5 airplanes by them.
I'm tempted by the airplanes, but space is a huge issue!
@@AwesomeActionToys Yes. Space is a huge issue. I kept them boxed up for years but just a couple of months ago I hung the planes from the ceiling in my office. It's fun looking at them. I keep a game of Axis and Allies set up in my office at all times and they create a cool backdrop for the game. I have a Junkers Ju 87, Mustang, BF-109, F4U-Corsair and P-38 Lightning.

It is a great looking tank. The commander would benefit from more articulation to fit in the turret. The Tank is a Panther AUSF G

@@AwesomeActionToys I have RC Tanks and storage is an issue. But then i have two 1/6 Tanks (Panzer 2s) and storage really is an issue with them.

Do you remember those Africa Corp type plastic figures you could buy as a tie in from the Indiana Jones films? They did the larger 1/6 scale but they also did a smaller scale with a truck and a Kubelwagen they looked like 1/18 although am not sure? You had all the weapons/equipment with them. They looked like the same moving joint type figures as the 1/18 Joy toy/Marauder WW2 figures.
I remember the 1:18 scale truck from Indiana Jones, are you referring to that?

1/18 scale is not my normal choice as I have 1/6 but also some madelman (smaller Spanish made action man) and toy soldiers from 90mm to 5mm. However since watching your unboxing of these 1/18 figures I am thinking of getting some....although they seem a bit pricey? Yet everything is these days.
